I was impure before the start of Ramadan and did not know that I had to do Ghusl and fasted throughout the whole month. Are my fasts still valid or will I have to make them up?

Is it true that Shia Muslims consider non-Muslims as impure? If that is the case, what about those non-Muslims such as Hindus and Sikhs who participate in Muharram congregations and give food to participants?

I had become impure a few months ago, and I was unaware that I had to perform Ghusl. I have, therefore, missed a lot of prayers since then but I do not know an exact number. Should I estimate a number and make them up accordingly?
