Do you believe God for something that seems to be taking a long time? In the natural, you may have every reason to give up on what God has placed in your heart. At times, you may be tempted to get discouraged, but remember, God knows exactly where you are. He says,

“I indeed know the Unseen in the heavens and the earth, and that I know whatever you disclose and whatever you were concealing”. (Qur’an; 2:33)1

He knows the desires He has placed within you. He knows even the hidden dreams - what the Qur’an calls the secret petitions of your heart2.

You have not told anyone about those things. Maybe you thought they would never work out, or you have buried them because they did not happen on your timetable. But God still has a way to bring them to pass.

Be encouraged now, because God is working behind the scenes on your behalf. Delight yourself in Him — find joy in serving Him and make your heart moldable in His hands. Do not settle for mediocrity because God knows what is in you, and His plan is to finish the work He began in you when you delight yourself in Him and

“submit and surrender to the Lord of all the worlds”. (Qur’an; 2:131)3

Come to God Almighty humbly, giving Him all that you are. Thank God for fulfilling every desire in your heart. Ask Him to mold you and shape you into His image. Remove anything from your life that is displeasing to Him.

“Put your trust in God. God is enough for your trust”. (Qur’an; 4:81)4
