Are the narrations in Nahj Al Fasahah authentic that state that, in the absence of women, God would be properly worshipped and all men would go to heaven? If so, what is the context behind these narrations?

The Qur'an does not express these negative ideas about women. Also, the Qur'an makes everyone responsible for their own acts (that is, men cannot blame women for their actions). It also conflicts the kind and respectful way that the Prophet (S) treated his womenfolk and female sahabah. Therefore, narrations which appear to contradict the Qur'an and Sunnah can be set aside.

This particular hadith is not in any strong source books - it appears to have been taken from Jami' al-Saghir by al-Suyuti (15th century, Egyptian, Sunni) - so it can be set aside as not having any evidence to support it as an authentic statement of the Prophet (S). 

As for where it came from, possibly someone said it as a reflection of the age-old tensions between men and women in life and it became attributed to the Prophet (S). These types of negative views about women and religion existed for a long time before Islam and could have come from there. 

 
In the West, many men have their lives destroyed by being accused of sexual misconduct, without any proof. Is this acceptable in Islam?

Islam does not accept accusations but asks for concrete evidence to stab lush whether the person committed a crime or hot. Muslims must follow Islamic Sharia.

Why are women required to cover themselves while men are not? Additionally, why are men permitted to have up to four wives whereas women can only have one husband?

We believe in Allah's absolute Wisdom and Knowledge and Mercy,b that is why we never argue with any rule from Allah. We know that He Knows all the reasons even if we don't know. Real believers submit to all the rules which came from Allah (SWT) through His Messenger (SAWA).

We might know part if the reason but can never expect knowing full reason because of our limitations as human beings.

Woman covering her body might be related to the fact that woman in her nature is more attractive to men, that is why she needs to cover herself.

Woman is allowed one husband only at the time, because of her dignity and respect which part of her creation as a human female. Usually, noble females from any faith or religious or cultural background, don't accept nor digest having more than one husband at the time. That is part of her nature.
