I have built a storey with my own money on top of my mother's two storey building. Do I need to share the income from it to other legal heirs, my sisters and brother, after my mother's death?

Yes. The storey which you built is on the top of your mother's building. Your mother has right in that storey. This right goes to her heirs after her.

In the country where I work, it is illegal to work on a tourist visa. However, I am currently employed at a restaurant using my tourist visa. Does this make my income Haram, as I am violating the country's laws?

It depends on the nature and the effects of your work. If your work does not harm any one and does not involve any wrong act on people, then it is allowed. If you are in doubt, then you may consult local trusted pious Ulama in the area where you are working now.

Can relying on rental income for livelihood fulfill the obligatory duty to earn money as a Muslim? Or should one find a job or start a business?

Relying on rental income is permissible as far as it is enough for your livelihood expenses. If you have time and power to work, then it is good to work. You can use the extra income for your everlasting future in Aakhirah by helping helpless people.

I own a sticker shop online and my friend told me it is Haram since I sell stickers of singers and movie actors. Is my income allowed?

You are allowed to sell stickers which do not propagate sinners or sinful acts. Stickers of singers and movie actors promote sins hence it is not allowed. Money earned from any unlawful business is also unlawful.

I have been looking to invest in an electronic vehicle stock but hesitant to do so as they sell alcohol as a gimmick. Is it allowed to invest in that stock as selling alcohol is not the company’s primary business nor their primary source of income?

Even if selling alcohol is not the main business of the company, but only a small part of the income, it will be unlawful (Haraam) to buy or sell the stocks of such company.

I live in a western country where I earn a living through providing food delivery services. Is the income permissible given that most of the food will not be Halal?

It is not permissible for a Muslim to deliver alcohol, beer as well as pork to any one even to non Muslims.

Other non Halal food can be delivered to non Muslims who are allowed by their religion to consume it.

Pension . Income . Khums

My parents have a pension and profit from a savings account as their sources of income. Is the capital in the savings account subject to Khums given that a large sum is required to earn enough profit, on top of the pension, to cover all living expenses?

If the saved money came from an income out of which Khums has been paid, then no Khums again on such amount. But if the saved money came from a source of income with out paying its Khums, then Khums on that part of the savings remains obligatory.

I operate a platform for all restaurants to sell their food online but there are restaurants who also sell pork and alcohol. Will their sales on my website make my income Haram?

Muslim is not allowed to sell or take part in marketing or selling alcohol or pork. You should refrain putting such unlawful items on your website or platform. If you sell such Haraam items,bayou will be committing a sinful act, and every income from such work is Haraam as well.

You should keep your platform and business activities clean and pure from any Haraam business.

If I edit clips of movies or TV shows, that are copyrighted content, and upload them to YouTube and generate advertising revenue, is that income considered permissible?

Is it permissible if some people in the West do not pay the full amount of tax from the income they earn and find ways to pay less?

Muslim should be good citizen where ever he lives. Abiding to the laws of the land is part of the duties of good citizen. Many people try to decrease their tax liabilities through legal ways according to licensed tax advisors who advise citizens legally. It is permissible to seek and act upon such legal advice as it is in accordance to the law of the land.
Going against the law is very far from the Islamic teachings.
