Skin care material does not need to be Taahir as far as you wash the Najis item before Salah. That also after being sure that the skin care is Najis. Not every alcohol is Najis according to many of our leading scholars.

Doubtful material (whether Najis or not) can be taken as Taahir till you have evidence that it is Najis.

Bismillah,

Asslamu Alaykom,

According to many scholars, one should completely avoid serving alcohol and pork meat. Some other scholars such as Sayed Muhammad Shirazi, stated that one can serve pork only to non-Muslims. You would need to check this with your marja to see what their ruling is.

May Allah grant you success
