Ghusl (Arabic: غسل‎) is an Arabic term referring to the full-body ritual purification mandatory before the performance of various rituals and prayers, for any adult Muslim after having sexual intercourse, ejaculation or completion of the menstrual cycle, although wudu or just sleep, without either, are the lesser stages of purity that is acceptable.The washing is also recommended but not required (i.e. it is mustahabb) before Jumu'ah and Eid prayers, before entering the ihram in preparation for Hajj, after having lost consciousness and after formally converting.

Waswasa is a condition of weakness in the will power and thinking power which makes the person hesitate in defining his acts and doubts himself or / and others.

The cause of this mental condition is the weakness in dealing with Shaitan which makes the person under the influence of Shaitan.

Shiatan and Satanic efforts are weak as Allah (SWT) says in Quran ( Verily, the efforts of Shaitan are weak) (Sura Annisaa’, Verse 76). Normal human beings are easily able to defeat Shaitan, but those who opt to be weak and go on in their weakness till they become very weak, put themselves as an easy target for Shaitan. Shaitan tries to mislead them under many titles including Wudhu and Namaz and Tahara and Nijasah etc. Shaitan creates doubts in their minds about the validity of their worship to disturb their state of mind and make them loose the sweat taste of worshipping Allah. If they keep listening to Satanic whispering, they will go far away from Allah (SWT). Some of them might reach to loosing their faith in worst scenarios.

Tackiling Waswasa needs:

1. Admitting that Waswasa is from Shaitan and being aware about its origin.Jafar Al-Sadiq (AS) was requested help to cure a person suffering from Waswasa.bHectold them: Ask him, is what he suffers from from Allah or from Shaitan? Imam Said: He will say: It is from Shaitan.

‘Such person needs to always be reminded that Waswasa is from Shaitan.

2. Repeating Estighfaar, Salwaat, La Hawla Wala Qowwata Ilya Billah and Laa Ilaaha Illallah لا إله إلا الله, Sura Tawheed. All these recitations drive Shaitan away if been recited with concentration and dedication.

3. Not to care to the repeated doubts at all and practicing the total ignoring of such doubts because of its Satanic origin.

4. Reciting this Quranic supplication : RABBI A’OOTHO BIKA MIN HAMAZAAT ASHSHAYATEEN رب أعوذ بك من همزات الشياطين

5. Repeating Ayatul Kursi.

Assalamu aleykum,

I would suggest, as precaution, to remove any traces of the mascara and re-do ghusl, wudhu and also the prayer, just to be sure that everything is performed as it should be.

It could be useful to see the rulings about the validity of wudhu’ (but also ghusl):

5. The organs of wudu must be ritually clean (tahir) before washing or wiping them.

Besides the ritual cleanliness (taharat) of the organs of wudu, they must also be exposed. In other words, there should be nothing on them which might prevent the water from reaching the skin. Special care should be taken by women in case the lipstick, nail-polish, kohl, and eye shadow are such that the water does not reach the skin. If the dirt under the long nails is not more than normal, then it will not harm the wudu.

A ghusl itself should not take you more than a minute or two. Please keep in mind that when one excessively doubts and repeats their act multiple times, this will lead to waswasah, and simple things will become very difficult.

No, it is sufficient to perform Ghusl al-Janabah with a single pitcher of water. It is better to balance the concern over washing everything with the concern of not wasting water. Remember that Islam came from the desert! And in most of human history people didn't have showers. Also, maybe it is not good for your skin to take very long showers.

Of course, please don't start worrying that you are committing a sin by washing too much or using too much water! Just keep in mind that Islam is meant to be easy and that Allah is forgiving; as long as you are trying to do it correctly, He is not going to punish you if you accidentally miss one small spot, and eventually you will do another ghusl for one reason or another and that spot will be taken care of.

If there is no water available then one should make tayyamum in place of ghusl. If there is water available then one must perform ghusl janaba in order to offer salat.

Ghusul al janaba is wajib following the scenario described in the question. She will have to repeat prayers that were performed while in state of impurity. Same goes for a man.

Wudu is a worship and cannot be replaced by ordinary washing or shower. The recommended ghusls are described in books of fiqh and you cannot make ghusl out of those described.

When a woman menstruates, and after 10 days she performs ghusul of Hayz, but still has slight bleeding after the 10 days, must she still have a daily ghusul before performing prayers?

The maximum days of menstruation (Haydh) or (Hayz) period is ten days and the minimum is three days.

If the bleeding continues more that ten days, then any day after the tenth day of menstruation will be Estihaadha and Not Haydh.

Estihaadha is three types according to the amount of blood :

Qaleela (Little) (Blood does not fill the pad.

Motawasita (Medium)(Blood fills the pad but does not leak out of it)

Katheera (Big) (Blood fills the pad and leaks out of it.

In Estihaadha (Qaleela) she must pray and fast like usual but with one Wudhu for every Prayer if the blood is in small amount which does not full the pad.

(Motawassita) :If the blood fills he whole pad but does not leak out, then she has to add one Ghusl before Morning Prayers.

(Katheera): If he blood fills the pad and leaks out, then three added Ghusls will be obligatory, one before Morning Prayer, second before Zohr Prayers, and third before Maghrib Prayers.

What comes out after urinating is not semen at all. I is called wathi وذي . It is Taahir and does not need any thing.

Semen comes out gushing in usual situations.

If something that resembles semen does not come out in the process of an ejaculation, but while urinating, then there is no ghusl, and only washing of that area.

Ghusl after menstruation is obligatory for performing Prayers. It is called Ghusl of Haydh (Ghusl after menstruating). After performing this Ghusl, she can perform ablution if she wants otherwise she can pray with that Ghusl alone.
