Is it permissible in Islam to have tattoos on any part of the body, or are there specific areas that should be avoided, such as the arms and feet in relation to Wudu?

Having tattoos is allowed in principle provided it should not include any holy name of Allah (SWT) or any Infallible, and it should not be exposed by female to non Mahram men.
Tattoo does not harm Wudhu because it does not make a layer in the skin but just color which does not prevent water from reaching the skin while Wudhu or Ghusl.
