In this collection of five lectures delivered in 1970, Ayatullah Murtadha Mutahhari discusses the Persian version of a book by Dr. Muhammad Iqbal in English entitled 'The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam'. It emphasizes the need for proper assimilation and dissemination of Islamic ethos in the process of its revival. He makes the case that it is only in applying the Islamic values practiced by the Holy Prophet (S) and the Ahl al-Bayt (A) that we can really adhere to the original Islamic way of thinking based on subservience to the One and the Only God.
