Allah SWT gave Iblees a warning - but Iblees continued his defiance - he asked Allah for a respite - Allah granted him less than he asked for - Iblees continued his rebellion -- he openly declared war against mankind -- Allah then ordered Iblees to leave his presence Back to Prophet Adam (as): - Adam was created to live on earth, not paradise -- because he was made a khalifa for earth - So why did Allah put him in Paradise? -- A safe place of training Adam -- So Adam could learn that he could repent -- So Adam could learn who are his friends and his enemies What was this Jannah? - Not the same one that has been promised to the muttaqeen - Rather, it was an Earthly Paradise, because: -- The Paradise of the hereafter is an eternal abode -- Iblees has no path to Paradise of the hereafter
