Applying medication for medical necessity is allowed as much as it is really necessary but it should not look like beautification at all. Muslim woman is not allowed to expose he beauty in front of the outsiders.

I have received partial payment for developing a betting app. Since betting is Haram in Islam, can I continue since I am just a service provider, not participating in betting or profiting from it? Is my income considered allowed?

It is not allowed to do anything which helps committing sins. Betting is unlawful (Haraam) in Islam and any act which helps it is unlawful and the income from unlawful work is unlawful.

Providing service to betting apps is unlawful like providing service to alcohol companies or adultery etc.

If food containing haram meat (for example, dumplings where the meat is fully enclosed and does not touch the cooking oil) is fried, does the cooking oil remain halal?

Meat inside the dumpling is usually cooked by the heat of the cooking oil, that is why such oil touches the meat in direct or indirect way, so, if the meat was non Halal, the cooking oil will not remain Tahir.

Using any type of sinful music is not permissible and money earned from that sinful act is also not allowed. Sinful music is the music which is usually used by sinners.

Income . Haram

If I find out part of my income is Haram but I am uncertain about the amount or whether any of it remains unspent, what steps can I take? Will the income be considered Halal since I was unaware it was earned through Haram means?

If you find out that any part of your income is unlawful (Haraam), you must give it back either to the real owners of it, and if you can’t reach to the real owners, then to the Muslim authority ( Haakim al-Share who is the Marja; of Taqleed) to give it to the poor as Majhool al-Malik (unknown owner fund).

Your late knowledge about the Haraam does not release you from your responsibility to give it back totally including what you spent from it.

Have you expressed your concern about this to them? Have you spoken about not only how it is haram, but also how it will deprive them of barakah and tawfiq in their lives? Try your best to politely explain all of this, and remind them.

If they still insist on having haram elements in their wedding, I would recommend you attend only the essential parts of the wedding, so as not to create conflict and future problems for yourself, as he is your brother. You can then excuse yourself, once there are haram things. If anyone objects, or gets upset, that is for them. You cannot obey or please someone at the cost of disobeying and displeasing Allah ta'ala.

I am currently relying on food and water from Haram income sources due to family circumstances, and I have little control over it. As a student without job options, how should I address this issue with my parents without causing negative repercussions?

You should not think that the income of your family is Haraam before having definite and clear evidence.

If you don't have a definite evidence that it is from Haraam source, you will permissible to utilise it. If you have a definite clear evidence that all the income is from Haraam source, then you have to avoid Haraam as much as you can.

Is it permissible to invest in a company that primarily engages in Halal activities but has minor Haram elements, such as receiving interest income?

If the income of the company is a mixture between lawful and unlawful, then we must avoid investing in such company. Receiving interest from non Muslim banks is not considered unlawful according to many Muslim scholars.

Is it permissible to conduct a secret Nikkah with someone and later have a public Nikkah, instead of engaging in a Haram relationship?

It is mustahab to conduct nikah publicly, with witnesses attending. Marriage should not be concealed and secret. If, for some reason, you want to do this, you must make sure you meet all the requirements, especially in that the bride needs consent from her father, if she has never been married.

If you both meet the conditions, you can do a temporary contract, to avoid haram, and keep that secret, and then have a public Nikah. Of course, if you do that, prior to the public nikah, you must nullify the temporary contract.

How can someone manage intense sexual urges while fearing Haram actions, especially when they feel unprepared for marriage and do not wish to pursue temporary marriage as an option? What are appropriate ways to cope with these feelings?

If one feels they are "unprepared" for marriage, then should work on preparing themselves, and make that their fundamental priority. Nothing is better than getting married.

Pursuing temporary marriage is not going result in long-term solution, so it is good they do not wish to pursue it.

Sexual lust is natural, given to us by Allah ta'ala for many benefits. We just need to regulate it, and control it when needed. We are all prone to becoming weak in our self-control, and Shaytan could overcome us. However, with jihad al-nafs, and resisting haram urges, one will see wonders.

Strong focus on acts of worship is one effective method of coping with lust, especially prayer and connecting with the Lord.

Avoid anything that leads to rising of lust, like what you see, or hear. Try to fast, as the Prophet (s.a.w.) advised.

Occupy yourself with various activities. Try not to be alone, and interact with family members more.

The element of dua is also very important. Immerse yourself in supplications, beseeching Allah and imploring Him to keep you pure, and grant you a righteous spouse.
