I know wearing makeup in public is haram.But if a woman suffers from rosacea (excessive skin redness) which makes her self conscious, is it permissible for her to wear a cream which simply covers the redness in public ?

Applying medication for medical necessity is allowed as much as it is really necessary but it should not look like beautification at all. Muslim woman is not allowed to expose he beauty in front of the outsiders.
