Is it true that a post-menopausal woman is not required to observe Iddah after marriage, whether permanent or temporary? Does this rule also extend to women of any age who have undergone a hysterectomy and no longer menstruate?

Yes, post-menopausal woman does not require to observe Iddah after divorce or termination of a temporary marriage. This rule is only for those women who have no menstruation because of their passing the age of menstruation. This rule does not extend to women who had hysterectomy and no longer menstruate. Such women who are in the age of menstruation require Iddah.

It is worth mentioning that Iddah of Wafat after the death of the husband is obligatory on every wife. It is four months and ten days from her knowledge about his death.

Is it necessary for a woman to observe iddah after obtaining Khula'a if there was no intercourse during the three years of marriage?

If the marriage was never consummated and no sexual inter course happened at all, then no Iddah will be required after the divorce or Khul’a. If marriage was consummated and sexual intercourse took place between husband and his wife even one time, then Iddah will be compulsory even if they did not have intercourse for years before divorce.

After my husband and I obtained Khula, following a year of marriage with regular intimacy, I am currently observing Iddat for 3 months. Post this time, is it necessary to acquire my father's consent for engaging in Mut'ah?

From a shar'i perspective, you do not need consent from your father, but I would advice you against engaging in mut'ah, and focus on recovering from the previous relationship, and hopefully finding new marriage. 

As a society, one who engages in such things becomes less wanted for marriage, and our Islamic values require that we stay chaste and modest, aiming at building a family. 

Also, although shar'i wise, you do not need your father's consent, but ethically, morally and socially, involving family in these things is definitely important.

If a woman claims she has completed her Iddah, but her husband says it is not complete, whom should we give more credibility to, the wife or the husband?
