This is interestingly a "new research", accommodating to today's popular trend. 

Cannibalism is also common among animals, even their own babies. A lot of animals eat their own excrement, or self-mutilate, chewing off their own limbs. Some animals kill their partner, once mating season is finished. 

A lot of animals are monogamous for life. There are animals that can change sex, or are two-sexed, and there are animals that don't need to mate to reproduce. 

The point here is that the argument of comparing human behaviour to animals is a very weak argument, and does not justify anything.

Is it permissible to allow an LGBT individual to enter a mosque, or should we deny them access?

If you do not allow an LGBT individual to enter a mosque, the next day they will go to a church.

If you sincerely decide to normalize your sexual orientation, you will be able to do that with help of Allah. It depends on you and your firm decisions. There is a narration from Imam Al-Sadiq (AS): Human being will never be weak to ache if what his strong will wants.

'It is good to remember the sexual orientation  of all the prophets and Imams and their followers and terrible end of those who followed wrong sexual desires as we read in Quran.

'It might be also useful to consult psychiatrists in some cases.

'You also need to avoid mixing with persons who have wrong sexual orientations.

Many desires can be from Shaitan, so we should be very careful before responding to our desires. Some people feel sexual desires towards a family member or a sister in law or a brother in law or even towards an animal in some cases. Such desires must be avoided because it is from Shaitan,

Seek help and protection from Allah, and keep on reciting Istighfaar and remembering Allah to drive Satanic thoughts and desires away.
