Najis . Tazkiyah (Purification)

How can I purify my laptop after Najis water - not containing Ayn al-Najasat - fell on it? Since it is not waterproof, I cannot pour Kurr or Qalil water. Would wiping it three times with a wet cloth be effective for purification?

No, wiping it will not remove the najasah. There must be pouring of water.

You might be better to just keep it that way, although you might be concerned about using it when your hands sweat, etc, or maybe trading the laptop with another new one.

It might be a bit risky, but you can put the laptop upside down, and spray water upwards, hoping it does not go in, and then dry it quickly. It does not need kurr water, and does not need a lot of water as well. This is just a suggestion.

What is the required distance between a man and a woman when they perform an obligatory prayer in the same room or place?

If there is no barrier between the man and woman, the woman (even if she is mahram) must stand behind the man, such that her place of sajdah be behind where the knees of the man would be when he does sujud.

I am a 21-year-old Muslim girl living with my parents. They don't respect my boundaries, and I cannot live with them anymore. Is it okay to ask them to arrange a marriage for me to move out?

I would not advice you to get married only for the sake of wanting to leave the house. If you do this, you might compromise your requirements for who you will marry, and your judgment will be wrong, and end up in a situation far worse than staying at home with your parents.

I converted from Sunni to Shia and want to marry a Shia Sayyeda. As a practicing Shia convert, is this marriage fully permissible according to scholars, or are there any concerns or discouragements regarding it?

A Seyyid/Seyyidah can marry a non-Seyyid/Seyyidah. These are only cultural norms, and as long as both sides are Muslim and wajib requirements for marriage are met, the marriage will be valid.

Brother . Parents . Phone . Sin . Privacy

Is it sinful for me to check my brother’s phone to see what he and my sisters are saying about me and my parents in a group chat, considering they are gossiping negatively about us?

In this case, it is sinful. If they are all gossiping about you, try to understand why, and seek advice regarding the issues they are raising, to see if they genuinely have a point, and if you should try to look at their perspective. As for spying and violating someone else's privacy, this is haram.

Tattoo . Hijab

Is having a tattoo on the wrist or arm considered allowed for someone who plans to wear a Hijab after marriage?

Having tattoos are considered makruh and discouraged, but it has nothing to do with observing hijab, as that is wajib. Postponing and deferring the obligatory duty of wearing hijab is not a good idea, as Shaytani manipulation always interferes in these kind of good and positive changes.

Can I inherit from my non-Muslim brother who has no wife or children, considering that non-Muslims typically do not inherit from Muslims?

After being physically assaulted by my brother, am I Islamically obligated to maintain contact with him or apologize for what I said to him in anger?

Being violent to siblings is unacceptable, haram and very damaging for sibling relationships. Try to make mends with him, and apologise if you wronged him.

Hopefully, things will get back to normal between him and you, but he must know that what he did is wrong and must not be repeated.
