No it is not permissible to watch games of videos promoting polytheism like fictional gods or worshiping other than Allah, The Exalted.

Such games are dangerously harmful in making the people accept polytheism and normalise major sins.

If what you mean by "unmarried partner" is that you are both non-mahram to each other, then of course you cannot have physical contact, or show any form of affection, physical or verbal.

Going out together in this case would also be problematic, due to the feelings you would have towards each other. Unless you are a large group, or other such circumstances.

Otherwise, if it is just you two alone, then it is pretty much going out on a 'date'.

If you are both interested in marriage, then get married.

If not, hanging out and going to movies with a non-mahram is certainly something that you must avoid.

Although using what is referred to as "pirated" maybe illegal in some countries, due to violation of copyright laws, it does not necessarily mean it is haram to do, from a shar'i perspective.

This would mean that there is no need for you to "repent" for such a thing. I would advice one observes caution, so as to not get legally in trouble, and follow the infringement laws of where you live.

Is it allowed to watch movies as shown on western channels that are not primarily indecent and where precautions are taken to skip past any occasional inappropriate scenes or music?

Watching any movie or film or picture which have indecent/inappropriate scenes or have indecent/ inappropriate parts or music used usually by the sinners, is not allowed. If you can avoid the sinful parts and only watch the parts which do not have indecent/ inappropriate scenes or sinful music, avoiding the wrong parts, then it allowed to watch the parts which are clean.
