It is haram to intentionally swallow blood, and so if you know you have blood in your mouth, you should spit it out. If you are in the state of prayer, and you taste blood, or for some reason you know you have blood in your mouth, you can spit it into a tissue and continue with your prayer, or wait until you finish your prayer, and then spit it out.

And Allah knows best.

There are a number of hadith in both Shi'i and Sunni hadith collections which describe types of honorary martyrdom; that is, they describe people who die in certain ways as "martyrs". (This ranges from things as dying from drowning, to dying with love of Ahl al-Bayt (A), to dying while sleeping with wudu.)

From these narrations, it can be gleaned that there is a certain respect or acknowledgment given to people who pass away in these ways, and/or some of the acts (obviously the voluntary ones, not involuntary ones) are respectable.

However, my understanding that the formal or highest notion of martyrdom is reserved for those who give their lives in the way of Allah (and Allah is the One who knows who they are). Perhaps one could consider someone who is intentionally putting themself at risk of infection to serve the people, and then dies, as this sort of martyr.

In the Sunni hadith collection of Sahih Muslim, it is related that the Prophet (S) described five types of people as martyrs; among those are those people who die from the plague. I am not sure offhand if this narration is transmitted via Shi'i chains of narration or in Shi'i books. However, this narration (or others similar to it) is the source of the idea, being circulated today, that people who die from the plague are martyrs.

However, with respect to Shi'i texts, it is related that Imam Reza (A) told someone: "Every beliver whom God afflicts with a misfortune and who exhibits patience over it, shall surely come to possess the rank and recompense of a martyr in the eyes of God.” The person who was told this did not understand why the Imam was telling him this, as he was not going through any major difficulties at the time, but he soon developed a painful and difficult condition that lasted for a number of months, and then he died - the implication here being that his patience over his illness granted him the status of martyrdom.

God knows best.

Proving the basics of faith which are called in Arabic, Usul al-Deen
is very simple for every human being who uses his senses.

Main Facts of this existence are:
    1.    Tawheed which means that the existence came because it was created and the Creator is the most powerful and the most
knowledgeable and the most merciful and this is what we believe in it
as the main fact that the Creator who created the universe is One
because we see the whole universe from the smallest nucleus to the
biggest galaxy made of the same system - the movement in all the
universe is anti-clockwise. The whole universe, in every part of it,
gives unanimous evidence that the creator of the whole universe is
one.

If there was another creator apart from Allah SWT, we should have seen
any message from him as Ameerul Mo’menneen Ali (AS) said to his son :
“O son, if your Lord had a partner, you should have received any
message from that partner.

There are unlimited evidences about Tawheed that the Creator is one
but we mention very brief and very simple evidence, otherwise everyone
in his own thinking can reach to the fact that the whole universe was
created either by itself which is impossible or by a creator which is
the fact and the creator is one, Allah SWT.

    2.    The evidence of Nubowwat (Prophethood) is also very clear in the mind
of sensible persons that the Creator who created us knows our abilities and our limited knowledge and knows that we need to be guided by divine leaders who have full knowledge from Him, and the human being cannot run his life without guidance
from Allah SWT and Allah SWT guided us in two ways - one way is
through our intellect which is the inner evidence and the second which
is the outer guidance which came from Allah SWT to all human beings
through the messengers, prophets and their divine successors.

    3.    The faith in the justice of Allah SWT, Adl, is simply clear for
sensible persons because no one commits injustice but either because
of ignorance or because of need. Those who are ignorant or those who
feel need try to do injustices but Allah SWT is away from these
reasons and Allah SWT is the absolute needless and the All-knowing. It is out
of question in fact, to think that Allah SWT needs to do injustice on
anyone.

    4.    The faith in the Day of Judgement (Qiyamat) is also part of our basic
faith, Usul al-Deen because we as human beings believe that every good
or bad must have a result and the Day of Judgement is the final day in
which everyone will meet the result of his deeds. No human being can
believe that the Most Merciful Creator Allah SWT who is the Most Just
leaves everyone doing whatever they do without Day of Judgement. Day
of Judgement is part and parcel of the justice and mercy of Allah SWT.

    5.    We also believe in the Divine leadership after the Holy Prophet (SAWA)
i.e.Imamate,  because Allah SWt who knows the need of all human beings
to be guided by the prophets, He sent all the prophets to guide the
human beings and when He sent the last and greatest and final Prophet
Muhammad (SAWA) He ordered him to inform the Muslims in all the times
that his successors wil be Ameerul Mo’mineen Ali (AS) who is the first of twelve infallible Imams who will always guide the people to the right part of Allah SWT and the Holy Prophet
(SAWA).

Wassalam.

The guidance of Allah (SWT) is definite for all human beings where ever and when ever they existed or exist . No question of being Arab or non Arab. It is for every human being. Allah says in Quran : There never  was a nation but a warner had been among them.  (Sura 35, Verse 24).

Every prophet leaves a successor after him t guide his nation in their own language,

There are many minor signs before the re appearance of Imam Al-Mahdi (AS) mentioned in many books, but no one can claim timing or expectations for any of the major signs because the major signs are definite signs before the Re appearance which is not known to any one except Allah (SWT).

Allah (SWT)'s mercy on His creatures has no limits as He always showers His bounties on all the creatures whether they obey Him or not. His mercy is on every one and every thing. Out of His mercy, Allah (SWT) does not put burden on any one more than the capacity and the ability of that person. All the obligation in Islam are withing the limits of the ability and when a person is unable because of any reason, the obligation will be lifted from him as far and as long as he is unable to do it. For example: Fasting during the month of Ramadhan is one of most important obligatory deeds upon every Muslim, but if a person is ill and can not fast, fasting becomes not obligatory on him.

This rule applies on every situation according to the abbility of the person.

We also have in our books so many narrations teaching the man to be just, kind and nice to his wife and children.

One Hadeeth says: Best of you is the best treating his wife خيركم خيركم لأهله.

Islam guides both men and women to be good to each other to build a life of mutual respect and harmony overwhelmed with love and sympathy.

Women are required to obey their husbands when the husband does not go against Allah (SWT). Man can not behave as a dictator just because he is a man but must keep the justice when dealing with any one and sympathy when dealing with his wife and children.

There is not much biographical information available about Hurr al-Riyahi (and if someone presents a detailed biography with previously unheard-of information, you should question where they got it from and whether they got it from reliable sources).

This webpage is well-written and explains what is known about the background of Hazrat Hurr as well as the reliability of various reports about him: http://en.wikishia.net/view/Al-Hurr_b._Yazid_al-Riyahi

The webpage does not speculate on his age but given his military rank and position, the respect he was given, the maturity with which he conducted himself, and that he was said to have adult sons (whether or not that report is correct), I would guess that he was somewhere in mid-life, old enough to have passed the younger stages of life but not so old that he was weak or showing signs of aging.

a wife should obey her husband provided that he would guide her towards the best and according to obedience to Allah. There is no obedience to any creature that implies disobedience to the Creator.

Man has been given a major role in certain aspects of life, naturally and religiously. On the other side, to the woman belongs a leading role in other issues, naturally and religiously. Other roles, may be performed by both. A religious family should aim at achieving happiness in this world and the Hereafter. Members should help each other and sacrifice themselves for the sake of Allah.

Generally speaking, consultation should always be taken in consideration if possible, keeping in mind that the main focus is to please Allah and not to hurt each other.

With prayers for your success.

If the program, cartoon or real, is pornographic, then of course it is impermissible to watch. If the program has certain segments in it that is sexually explicit, and you are of mature age, and such a program will not lead you to commit any haram acts, then watching the program itself is permissible.

However, once such scenes come out, you must fast forward it and skip the sexual content.

And Allah knows best.
