Al-Kalabi al-Basri narrated from ‘Umar b. ‘Uthman al-Bazzaz from al-Nadr b. Suwayd from Muhammad b. Khalid from al-Halabi, who said: Abu ‘Abd Allah, peace be upon him, said: “We have not found anything similar to milk soup (hasw al-laban) for pain of the thoat.”
