There is no shar'i basis for this, and it is not necessary at all.

The expression used in this khutbah is:

 وَقَدْ نِلْتَ مَنْ صَهْرِهِ مَا لَمْ يَنَالاَ

and you also hold relationship to him by marriage which they do not hold.

There are different views regarding this, but what can most certainly be said is that the Prophet (s.a.w.) only had one living child, Seyyidah Fatimah al-Zahraa (a.s.).

As for what this is referring to, the view is that 'Uthman was married to Ruqayah and Um Kulthum, the adopted or step-daughters of the Prophet (s.a.w.). The reason why I say adopted or step-daughters is that there is a strong view that Seyidah Khadijah (a.s.) was not married before the Prophet (s.a.w.), nor did she have any children. It is said they are the daughters of Seyidah Khadijah's sister Halah.

Anyway, there are different opinions regarding this, and for further reading,  please visit this link [Arabic]:

No, a civil divorce does not take the place of a shar'i divorce.

What this husband must do is find out if his violation of law of the land is sinful and haram.

But nonetheless, it will not affect the shar'i legitimacy of the marriage, and they would still be husband and wife from a shar'i perspective.

And Allah knows best.

The formula of shar'i marriage, permanent or temporary, does not need to be in Arabic, as long as the exact same formula, procedure, message and meaning is being conveyed.

And Allah knows best.

If one is financially incapable of paying zakat al-fitrah, even the bare minimum, they are exempted from it.

If you do have savings though, and are able to pay, then you should, and if not at all, you are exempted.

And Allah knows best.

All you need to do is recite the Nikah ceremony, and there is no need to wait for a three month period.

If you have a temporary contract between you and her, you must nullify that first, by freeing her for the remaining period. Then you do the permanent Islamic marriage contract with her.

And Allah knows best.

Unfortunately, this is indeed a very misogynistic and degrading way to look at women. Women, like men, should be ambitious and pursue goals in life, but of course never at the cost of motherhood, which is a great an noble status.

Should a wife/mother be able to combine both, very good, but of course it needs a pious and patient husband as well. If she is not able to continue her studies, or work, for whatever reason, then she should not be looked down upon, nor is her status any lower in society.

This is a very long topic, but we have to understand that in today's society, women working in many cases is for more income, to cover costs of living, and in Islam, this is the duty of the husband, to provide for the family.

What these young boys must focus on is how they can become better believers, meeting the strict requirements of being a committed husband and good father in the future.

With prayers for your success.

One of the best ways of removing waswasah is never to accommodate to thinking of such scenarios. Do not create scenarios in your mind, and do not assume najasah at all. Your taklif and duty is to completely dismiss your shakk by ignoring it and considering whatever scenario you are in to be tahir and pure.

And Allah knows best.

The age of taklif for a female is completion of nine lunar years, which in Gregorian calendar is 8 years, 8 months and 20 days (approximately).

If she is younger than this, she does not need to make up to anything, and her fasting is just for learning. If she is of taklif age, and she was extremely hungry, unable to continue fasting, she just makes up this day later on as qadha`, and there is no kaffarah.

It is always strongly recommended to wake up for suhur (pre-dawn) time and have a healthy meal, drink water, etc., to be able to avoid severe hunger during the day, especially for younger people.

And Allah knows best.

At the end of times, prior to Qiyamah, there will be Raj'ah; the return of the purest and the return of the wickedest.

This is when retribution will happen, and those responsible for the worst of oppression will be held accountable for what they did.

This means that in Heaven there will be no more sorrow or grief or sadness. Indeed, as our ahadith say, attending the Majalis of Imam Husain (a.s.), weeping for him and the tragedy of Karbala, writing poem for him, and everything related to serving Imam Husain (a.s.) will amount to mandatory entering of Heaven.

This itself is the greatest blessing, if we do it sincerely and with correct ma'rifah, truly recognising the status of the Imam and following his teachings in practice.

If we are fortunate enough, we could also be in the vicinity of Imam Husain (a.s.) and Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) in Heaven, in shaa Allah.

And Allah knows best.
