Thank you for your question. While the scriptural sources refer to the possibility of seeing Allah, they also establish that God is above physical sight, as that would limit Him. Hence, the references in the scriptural sources can be understood metaphorically, meaning that seeing God refers to seeing the bounties of God for example.

Thank you for your question. In the book Islamic Laws according to the rulings of Ayatullah Sistani and translated by Shaykh Mohammed Ali Ismail he says:

"If someone keeps a recommended fast, it is not obligatory on him to complete it. In fact, if a fellow believer invites him to eat, it is recommended for him to accept the invitation and to break his fast during the day, even if it is after zuhr."

Thank you for your question. Humans are created to reach their perfection as beings that mirror God's most beautiful Names. The path to that perfection is the effacement of the ego by becoming servants of God and the method to reach this goal is worshipping God. Hence when God says that he didn't create humans or jinn except to worship him, it is in terms of the method to reach their perfection and does not imply that He is needful of worship in any way.

May you always be successful.

I would like to recommend the readable and well-referenced biogrpahy _The Blessed Tree_ by Shaykh M. S. Bahmanpour which goes through much of what is recorded historically about her. It would not do justice to the subject for me to decide what is most significant and type it here!

It refers to the desert Arabs (the Bedouins); one way this is clear is that it is referring to them as "them" rather than "us".

Keeping in mind, also, that what is conceived of as "the Arab world" today did not exist back then since most of the Middle East did not become culturally or linguistically Arab until the expansion of the Arab-Muslim state after the time of the Prophet (S).

The best source on what Allah would be "angry" with is the Qur'an. (Whatever it means for Allah to be "angry" from the perspective of the divine.) This includes:

* Killing prophets

* Blatant ungratefulness for miracles and divine aid (the story of the Children of Israel in the desert)

* Murder

* Deserting the Prophet (S) during wartime

* Lying under oath in a court

* Denying the truth about the existence/nature of Allah when it is apparent

Thank you for the interesting question!

As you know, there are a number of differences between the Qur'anic and Biblical stories of similar people. Muslims and those who believe in a literal interpretation of the Old Testament will have to agree to disagree until the day comes when the truth is made clear!

In this case, it is more complicated because it is not 100% clear that Talut is the same person as Saul because they have different names.
