65. Manna From Heaven
When the Israelites were in the desert, God fed them with manna from heaven. It was miraculous provision. He says,
“And We shaded you with clouds, and We sent down to you manna and quails: “Eat of the good things We have provided for you”. (Qur’an; 2:57)1;
yet, they got tired of eating the same thing every day. They
“said, “O Moses, We will not put up with one kind of food. So invoke your Lord for us, that He may bring forth for us of that which the earth grows its greens and its cucumbers, its garlic, its lentils, and its onions”. (Qur’an; 2:61)2
Moses thought, “That is impossible here in the desert?” However, Almighty God had ways to feed them that they have never thought of. God said,
“Go down to any town, and you will indeed get what you ask for”. (Qur’an; 2:61)3
Yes, God knows how to get your provision to you.
What do you need today? What are the desires of your heart? God’s grace is sufficient. He is able to make all grace abound so that in all times, you have everything you need. Trust Him to bring increase in unexpected ways!
“And whoever puts his trust in God, He will suffice him. Indeed God carries through His command”. (Qur’an; 65:3)4
Do not put Almighty God in a box! Trust that even when you cannot see how things will work out, He will bring increase in unexpected ways. Trust in Him and be pleased with His plan for you. The Qur’an says,
“It would have been better if they had been pleased with what God and His Apostle gave them, and had said, “God is sufficient for us; God will give to us out of His grace, and His Apostle. Indeed to God do we eagerly turn”. (Qur’an; 9:59)5
