In religion, paradise is a place of exceptional happiness and delight. Paradisiacal notions are often laden with pastoral imagery, and may be cosmogonical or eschatological or both, often compared to the miseries of human civilization: in paradise there is only peace, prosperity, and happiness. Paradise is a place of contentment, a land of luxury and fulfillment.

There is no discrimination whatsoever in Islam neither in this life nor in the hereafter. Every believer will get the reward of there good deeds equally. Obviously same good deed has different degrees of sincerity which will be reflected in the reward of it. There is no discrimination at all because of ethnic or family matters. Allah Sats in Quran ( Every one will be getting his own deeds). Sura 52, verse 21.

The narrations speak of the grave as a garden of paradise for the believers and that it is extended and expanded for them. It is the same material grave in which we bury the dead body?

It is the same grave which the dead believer buried in. He feels and enjoys the paradise bounties even if his physical body turns to soil but he remains in his soul and spirit feels the happiness.

Husband . Paradise . Wife

Would I be granted a husband in Jannah based on my own level of righteousness, rather than being the spouse of my current husband who is more pious and would likely be in a higher level of paradise?

When both husband and wife are in Paradise, Allah Grants both of them the best to make every one from them as the best for the other. Your husband will be granted with the best that will not even dream, and you will see him as the most wonderful man in the Paradise, same you will be granted the best that your husband will see you as the most wonderful woman in the Paradise.

Worship . Greed . Paradise . Fear . Hell . Praise . God (Allah) . Qur'an

Is the statement "I worshiped Allah not for paradise or fear of hell, but because He deserves all praise" considered authentic? Does it not contradict the teachings of the Quran that teaches fear of hell and incentivizes with desire of Jannah?<br>

Faith in Allah (SWT) has many degrees. Feeding of hell makes people avoid sinful acts. Keening for Paradise makes people do more good to gain Paradise. Higher degrees of faith of most humble servants of Allah, make them not only higher than fearing hellfire and keening Paradise but loving and worshiping Allah as He is entitled to be worshiped. Real love for Allah in the heart of His most humble servants makes them worship Him for His Greatness as He is The Only entitled to be worshiped.

‘The Quranic verses you mentioned are for usual believers who have a certain degree of faith and love for Allah. Such degree does not apply to the most humble servants of Allah (SWT) who have the higher degrees of faith and love for Allah (SWT).

Are there any contradictions between the hadith that states reciting Ayat al-Kursi after each prayer guarantees entry to Jannah, and the one that says having even a small amount of ignorance will prevent entry to Jannah?

No contradiction at all. The ignorance which prevents entering the Paeadise is Shirk (polytheism).

Allah knows best how to weigh all aspects of a person's nature, intentions, capability, understanding, opportunities, knowledge, weaknesses and so forth. So, in the next life, Allah will judge absolutely justly, and no one will look at how Allah judges in the next life and say that Allah has been unfair. We will also understand better why people are judged as they are, since sometimes a small action may lead a person to jannah and someone who seems good on the surface may end up in the other place.

However, having genuine wilayah (allegiance) to the Imams will, inshallah, aid a person in helping to attain a higher spiritual station, benefit from their intercession, and allow us to be with them in the next life.

Most non-Shi'a today are not directly rejecting the Imams; rather, they are just following what they grew up with or what society says around them. This is different from someone who, for example, rejected Imam 'Ali (A) to his face. As is narrated from Imam Rida (A): "May Allah have mercy on the one who keeps our [teachings] alive... for if the people knew of the virtues of what we say, they would have followed us."

It is important not to be arrogant in one's faith, since even if a person believes in the Imamate, they may still suffer from misconceptions about what is true and be informed in the next world about those things that they thought were correct, which were not. Inshallah Allah would also be merciful about that. However, we can, God willing, pray that Allah guides us to what is most true.

Will individuals who have pride and arrogance, but treat people well, go to Jannah?

Pride and arrogance can not be with treating people well. Arrogance causes disrespecting people which is a sinful act.

Is it true that the people who have hatred towards Shia Muslims, but not the Ahlul Bayt, can still enter paradise?

Enemies of Ahlul Bayt are many types. Some of them hate Ahlul Bayt because of their hatred to the Prophet which is in fact hatred to Allah. Such people are with enemies of Allah in hellfire as all the enemies of Allah will be sent to Hellfire as we read in Quran ( That is the recompense of the enemies of Allah: The Fire (Sura 41, verse 28).

Some enemies don't dear declaring their enmity against Ahlul Bayt but attack Shia Muslims just because of their following Ahlul Bayt (AS). Such people who hate Shia Muslims for no reason but only because of their following Ahlul Bayt are with the enemies of Ahlul Bayt as we read in statements from Ahlul Bayt (AS).

Some people don't know enough about Ahlul Bayt nor about Shia Muslims due to wrong or misleading information which made them have negative opinion about Shia Muslims or think that Shia Muslims are not following Ahlul Bayt. If they know the truth about Shia Muslims, they will not oppose them at all. Such type of people are not with enemies of Ahlul Bayt because they don't know the truth.

'Who will enter Paradise and who will not, is not a personal opinion, but we take what is in Quran and authentic Prophetic statements.

Will men have multiple wives in paradise?

If a pious believer had more than one wife in this life and all of them were pious believers, they will be with him in the Paradise but with out any jealousy or bad feelings between them.

Bismihi ta'ala

At the end of times, prior to Qiyamah, there will be Raj'ah; the return of the purest and the return of the wickedest.

This is when retribution will happen, and those responsible for the worst of oppression will be held accountable for what they did.

This means that in Heaven there will be no more sorrow or grief or sadness. Indeed, as our ahadith say, attending the Majalis of Imam Husain (a.s.), weeping for him and the tragedy of Karbala, writing poem for him, and everything related to serving Imam Husain (a.s.) will amount to mandatory entering of Heaven.

This itself is the greatest blessing, if we do it sincerely and with correct ma'rifah, truly recognising the status of the Imam and following his teachings in practice.

If we are fortunate enough, we could also be in the vicinity of Imam Husain (a.s.) and Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) in Heaven, in shaa Allah.

Women . Hijab . Paradise

Will women have to observe Hijab in paradise as well? If so, why is that if paradise is not a place of duty but a reward?

Bismihi ta'ala

Heaven is a place of reward and bliss. There is no taklif in Heaven. There are no ahkam, or rulings or laws. Women or men do not need to observe mandatory laws that are only legislated for us here in this dunya.

We just need to make sure we perform our duties in the best way possible, so that we are fortunate and blessed to end up in the everlasting abode of Heaven, in shaa Allah.
