Fatimah was the daughter of Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Ahmad Ibn 'Abdullah Ibn Hazim al-'Akbari.

Her Merits

Fatimah was a scholarly, learned woman, and a jurisprudent. She was one of the teachers of Sayyid Taj al-Din Muhammad Ibn Ma'iyyah al-Husayni. Apparently, she was of the Imamiyyah faith, and Shaykh al-Shahid (10^th century) has related traditions from her by way of the aforementioned Sayyid Ibn Ma'iyyah. According to what has been found, Shaykh 'Abd al-Samad Ibn Ahmad Ibn 'Abd al-Qadir Ibn Abu al-Jaysh has given permission to Fatimah to relate traditions.1
