This narration which in Bukhari and Muslim is an evidence that the Prophet (SAWA) was practicing Taqiyya hand he did not remove the situation of Ka'bah which was wrongly done by the people of that time and before them.

'We don't accept any narration from one single narrator, but the content of this narration is mentioned in many of our books of Hadeeth.
