God (Allah)

We as Muslims should have clean and loving heart. Even those who harm us, we should pray to Allah (SWT) to guide them and forgive them.

If we face an enemy of Allah, then we are allowed to pray to Allah to punish him. We must have full evidence that he is an enemy of Allah and not just of our difference with him.

Seeking forgiveness is compulsory to avoid the dangerous consequences of the sin. Beside its necessity to repair the damage of the sin, it gives a feeling of relief and comfort to the sinner because it is part of remembering Allah which is the only source of peace of mind (Sura 13, Verse 28).

Nevertheless, it does not mean definitely that Allah (SWT) Has forgiven the sin. Allah forgives our sins if we sincerely seek forgiveness and decide not to do it again, and give back the rights of others, but He knows when?

We need always to remember our previous sinful acts and keep on seeking forgiveness.

Allah The Glorious, The Most Merciful created us to shower on us His Mercy. We read in Quran that Allah created people for His Mercy. (Sura 11, Verse 119). 

He created us for the Paradise after this life except those who insist on committing crimes and injustice refusing His Mercy. Paradise is last station for all human beings who believe in Allah (SWT) as the Hadeeth says: الجنة للموحدين The Paradise is for the believers in Tawheed.

The oath to do an action needs many conditions to be valid; e.g. the action should be valid by itself. Oath on an action which is Haraam is invalid e.g. an oath not to talk to his brother or any relative or a believer is invalid. 
Oath of the wife is invalid if it clashes with the rights of her husband.
Husband can invalidate the oath of his wife.

Oath of the son or daughter against the wish of their father is invalid.

Allah is The Most Merciful, The Forgiver. Those who repent their sins and sincerely seek forgiveness with giving back the rights of others and firm decision not to commit the sin again have been promised by Allah in Quran: Say, O My servants who have transgressed  against themselves (by sinning), Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, Verily, Allah forgives all sins, Truly He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Sura 39, Verse 53).

The Hadeeth says: The repenting believer from his sin is like a person with out sin. التائب من الذنب كمن لا ذنب له.

Repenting and sincerely seeking forgiveness and fulfilling the missed rights have definite effect in our life and spirituality.

Allah is The Most Wise, Most Merciful, does not order us but only for our benefit as He is The Absolute Needless. All His orders to us are based on Our benefit which is totally and completely known to Him.
Every Wajib (obligatory) act is essential for our life here and hereafter.

Every Haraam (forbidden) act is very harmful for us here and hereafter.

Every Mustahab (recommended) act is useful for us but not essential.

Every Makrouh (disliked) act is harmful but not very harmful.

Every Ja'iz (permissible) act is neither harmful nor useful.

We need to talk to Allah and remember His bounties and thank Him in our daily five prayers as Allah says in Quran (And perform Prayers to remember Me). Sura 20, verse 14.

His Knowledge is unlimited and His Mercy is unlimited, that it why He ordered us to perform Prayers of Fajr, Dhuhr, Assr, Maghrib and Isha every day. He knows that we need to talk to Him at least in five daily prayers. We believe in His Absolute Knowledge, Wisdom and Mercy, hence we abide to His orders which are definitely for our benefit.

   1.    We have in many Hadeeths that Allah has created the Qalam (The Pen), and the Qalam has been ordered by Allah to write what will be happening till the Day of Judgement. 
    2.    Imam Jafar As-Sadiq (A.S.) has been asked about this verse: ن والقلم (Noon Wal Qalam). He said Noon was a river in the Paradise,White more than the ice and sweet more sweet than the Honey. Allah ordered the river to be ink, then Allah put a tree and told that tree to become Qalam (A Pen) then Allah ordered the pen (Qalam) to write. The Qalam asked: What shall I write? Allah replied: Write whatever will be happening till the day of Judgement. The Qalam wrote according to the order of Allah then it was silent. Allah ordered: Do not talk till the designated time means the day of Judgement. (Elal Al-Shara’e’, علل الشرائع Page 402. 
    3.    Another Hadeeth from Imam Jafar As-Sadiq (A.S.) when he was been asked about Noon Wal Qalam. He says: Noor was a river in the Paradise. Allah ordered the river to be frozen. It became frozen then it became ink. Allah told the Qalam (the Pen): Write. The pen wrote in the preserved board –Lawh Al-Mahfoudh اللوح المحفوظ . The Pen wrote whatever was happening and whatever will happen till the day of Judgement. The ink was ink from Noor (Light) and the Qalam (the Pen) was a Pen from Noor (Light) & Lawh (the Board) was Board from Light. معاني الأخبار Ma’aani Al-Akhbar Page 23. 
    4.    In Tafseer Ali-Ibn Ibrahim Volume 2 Page 379, there is a narration from Abdul Rahim Al Qaseer who said: I asked Imam Jafar As-Sadiq (A.S.) about Noon Wal Qalam. Imam said: Allah has created the Qalam (the Pen) from a tree in the Paradise called “Al Khuld”. then Allah told a river in the Paradise to be ink. The river became frozen, and it was more white than the ice and more sweet than the Honey. Then Allah ordered the Qalam (the Pen) to write. The Qalam said “O my Lord What shall I write”. Allah Ordered the Qalam to write whatever existing and whatever will happen till the day of judgement. 
    5.    In Tafseer Ali Ibn Ibrahim Volume 2 Page 198 , there is a narration from Hisham narrating from Imam Jafar As-Sadiq (A.S.) saying the first which Allah created is Al-Qalam. Then Allah ordered the Qalam : أُكتُب Write. The Qalam (the Pen) wrote what was going on and what will happen till the day of Judgement. 
    6.    We also have narrations about the meaning of Noon and the meaning of Qalam. A narration from Imam Moosa Al-Kadhim (a.s.) which was narrated by Muhammed Ibn Al-Fadheel . He said I asked Imam Moosa Al-Kazim (a.s.) about Noon Wal Qalam Verse he said: Noon is a name of the Messenger of Allah, and Al-Qalam is name for Ameerul Momeneen Ali (a.s.).

Allah, The Most Merciful, The Most Compassionate created us to shower on us His Mercy. Allah does need us and never gets any benefit from our worshiping Him. The benefits are for us only. Allah says in Quran: Except those on whom Your Lord Has bestowed His Mercy, and for that He did create them.(Sura 11, Verse 119).

Allah is able to do whatever He wants but Allah never orders people to do wrong. Worshiping other than Allah is most dangerous act as Allah says in Quran: Surely, polytheism is dangerous injustice. (Sura 31, verse 13).

We read in Quran about the enemies of Allah who claim that Allah ordered them to do what they do (Nay, Allah never commands wrong) Sura 7, verse 28.

The absolute ability of Allah (SWT) to do whatever He wants does not mean that He misguide or orders or commands wrong. Allah never orders people to worship other than their Creator who is Allah (SWT).
