Du'a (Supplication)

In Islam, duʿāʾ (Arabic: دُعَاء‎, plural: ʾadʿiyah أدْعِيَة), literally meaning "invocation", is an act of supplication. The term is derived from an Arabic word meaning to 'call out' or to 'summon', and Muslims regard this as a profound act of worship.

from an isnad-perspective these invocations are not authentic. However their recitation became popular in the Shi'ah world.

daily recitation of Qur'an is good for the spiritual and mental development of the child insh'Allah. The supplication of Imam al-Sajjad, peace be upon him, for his children that can be found in the al-Sahifah al-Sajjadiyyah (dua number 25) has some good words for the protection of children from difficulties.

The company with good-hearted people that avoid too much formalities but are able to give real love is also very important in the mentioned case. Be aware of people who do vain talks and spiteful comments but look for people and families who are sincerely committed to the Din of Islam and purity of heart.

With prayers for your success.

There are many narrations in Sunni books about the Sun rising from the
west as a sign of the Day of Judgment as it is narrated in Sahih
Bukhari  (vol. 5 pg. 195 and also vol. 7 pg. 191)  and in Shahih
Muslim (vol. 1 pg. 95). The narrations says that after that incident,
the repentance will not be accepted.

In our Shia books of Hadeeth, we also have many narrations that the
rising of the Sun from the west will take place but not as s sign of
the Day of Judgment. In Kitab al-Irshad by Shaikh Mufeed (pg. 358)
narrated from Abi Hamzah al-Thimali saying : “I asked Abu Ja’far
al-Baqir (AS) : “Is the coming of Sufyani definite?” He (AS) said
“Yes. And the huge sound from the sky and the rising of the Sun from
the west and the dispute between Bani Al Abbas and the killing of
al-Nafs al-Zakiyah and the coming back of Imam al-Mahdi (ATFS) are all
definite”.”

1. Du'a (supplication to Allah) is a direct link between the human being and his Creator , Allah (SWT).

2. Du'a is a vital need for every one who believes in Allah (SWT) and confesses his need to Allah Who Has the full ability to fulfill our needs.

3. Du'a is the realistic way to deal with life with all its challenges which can never be met but by help from Allah (SAW).

4. Du'a is the weapon of all the prophets and their followers.

5. Du'a is a continuous practice of the prophets and Infallible Imams.

6. More faith leads to more Du'a and vice versa.

7. Du'a is the spirit of worship as the Hadeeth says.

8. Du'a makes the believer feel more peace of mind as he trusts and relies on Allah (SWT) and endless Power and Mercy.

Thank you for your question and sorry for your loss. In our traditions it is reported that a miscarried child will refuse to enter heaven without its parents. The imagery that the Arabic word for refuses uses, is the same refusal that children have to sometimes the simplest of issues, where they will not budge until the grown up has to bow to their will. As such the loss of children at the stage of miscarriage is a gain for both them and you, and you will be reunited with them at the gates of heaven.

There are no specific narrated dua to prevent miscarriages that I know of, so recite the duas that you identify with and those which express your feelings. Seek closeness to Allah through understanding these tests as He only tests a person for their own improvement.

May you always be successful and may He provide you with plentiful offspring.

Thank you for your question. Prayers do not travel in a corporeal sense. God is all Hearing and there is no time when your prayers are unheard. Rather, the speed of a person's prayer being answered is an expression of how quickly the prayer is answered and how quickly the causes of the desired outcome come about.

May you always be successful

Yes, it is right to pray two Rak'ats of Salaah for the sake of Allah (SWT) supplicating to Allah (SWT) to fulfill your difficulty and grant your need.

It is just like Fajr Salaah but it is not obligatory.

Salam Alaykom,

There are multiple supplications which are known to provide the blessing of sustenance/الرزق. However, amongst the most distinguished of these supplications is the dua that is highly recommended to be recited after Ishaa prayer; تعقيب صلاة العشاء

Abeed Ibn Zurara narrates that he was in the company of Imam Jafar Asadiq (a.s) while a poor man complained to the Imam (a.s) about his bad financial status and for a solution out of it. The Imam (a.s) replied "If you have completed your Ishaa prayer then say "O Allah! Verily, I lack acquaintance with the place of my sustenancerather, I am seeking it owing to ideas that come upon my mindI consequently wander in places searching for itBy doing such, I am as confused as the confoundedsince I do not know whether my sustenance lies in a plain, on a mountainon the ground, in the airon lands, in seasat whose handsor who the source of it isI have full knowledge that You know all thesethe causes of them are in Your Handsand it is You Who distribute it out of Your compassion and cause it out of Your mercyO Allah, please send blessings to Muhammad and his Household and make, O Lord, Your sustenance that is provided (by You) to me expansivemy seeking for it easy for meand its source close to mePlease, do not fatigue me by seeking that which You have not decided for me to takebecause You are certainly in no need for tormenting me while I am in full need for Your mercy. [Please] send blessings upon Muhammad and his Household and confer liberally upon me, Your slave, out of Your graciousnessYou are surely the Lord of great favor.”

Abeed Ibn Zurara concludes the narration by stating that not too much time passed until this same poor man became blessed with sustenance.

Of course it's important to note that one condition for this dua or any to be answered- is to have genuine faith in Allah (swt) and to satisfy His requests first before expecting Him to satisfy ours.

Thank you for your question. Allah is all-Forgiving and all-Merciful so there is no set limit to the amount of times He will forgive a sin, especially if the one who is seeking forgiveness is sincere. One of the signs of the acceptance of forgiveness can be seen in a real change in a person.

May you always be successful.
