Salah (Prayers)

Salah ("worship", ‏صلاة‎; pl. ‏صلوات‎ ṣalawāt; also salat), or namāz (Persian: نَماز‎) in some languages, is one of the Five Pillars in the faith of Islam and an obligatory religious duty for every Muslim (Male & Female, with certain exemptions based on Taqwa). It is a physical, mental, and spiritual act of worship that is observed five times every day at prescribed times.

It is recommended to mention Ameerul Mo'mineen in Azan and Iqama. Salah has to be performed as the Prophet (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt (AS) performed it. We are not allowed to add on the Tashahhud but only Du'a.

Repeated doubts (Waswasah) is initiated and promoted by Shaitan to disturb first us and deprive us from the real taste of worshipping Allah (SWT). We must realize that it is from Shaitan, then try to tackle it in every possible way. We should never listen to the whispering (Waswasah) and must ignore it all the way. We need to decide to ignore any thought or doubt from the Waswasah and focus on that. It can take little time but it must get us free from Waswasah.

Wassalam.

It is not obligatory on you to repeat any prayers which you have performed, unless you are sure or become sure that it was definitely invalid.

The possibility of invalidity does not mean that you have an evidence that it was invalid.

Leading Sunni Shaikh Sayyed Saabiq of Al-Azhar stated that there is no single Hadeeth which can be considered as authentic suggesting that the Prophet (SAWA) ever crossed his hands during Salah (Fiqh Al-Sunnah).  That is why you find none of Sunnis is claiming folding or crossing the hands during Salah as Wajib and you find different verdicts among them. Imam Malik who is one of the four main Sunni Imams stated that the Salah of the Prophet (SAWA) and his companions after him is with open hands and never with holding or crossing hands. Imam Malik was asked about crossing hands in Salah, he replied: I don't know it , which means that it was not practiced by the Prophet nor his companions. (Al-Moghni by Ibn Qudamah, page 514).
'This crossing or folding hands was ordered first by Omar ibn al-Khattab when prisoners of war were brought from Persia to Madina and they did that as it was part of their culture or religious practice when they saw him as a sign of respect to the head of the state. He liked it and ordered his people to do it in Salah.(Jawahir Al -Kalam, V.11, page 19). Many leading companions rejected it as it was never done or approved by the Prophet (SAWA).

Imam Ali (AS) who is the best who knows about the Prophet, has repeatedly objected on crossing hands and called it emitting non Muslims as Jewish and Majoos fold their hands during their prayer. Imam Ali (AS): أسبلوا ولا تتشبهوا باليهود. أسبلوا ولا تتشبهوا بالمجوس Pray with your hands open and never imitate Jewish people. Keep your hands open while praying and never resemble Majoos.

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah
After reciting Surah al-Ikhlaas(Tawheed).
Knowing that this Surah contains very profound attributes of Allah swt, it is quoted that Imam Baqer(a.s) used to recite this Zikr after this Surah which literally means "My Lord is like that" and because of this hadith scholars have said that it is Mustahab to say it once or 3 times after reading Surah Tawheed.
Note that the one who recites the Surah should say this sentence i.e. in Furada prayer, one who recites the surah would say that and in congregational prayer the Imam would say it and not the followers.

Praying in the Masjid and with Jamaa’ah (congregation) has greater reward than praying alone at home. This is in the obligatory Prayers, but performing recommended Prayers at home is much better than in the Masjid. While you perform recommended Prayers at home, you will have full chance to do long Sojood and recite long Du’a. So, kerfirn your obligatory Prayers in the Masjid and your recommended Prayers and supplication and worshipping at your home.

Wassalam.
