With God on your side, there is nothing to be afraid of. Our attitude should always be, “The Lord protects me from danger. Why should I be afraid? Though an army surrounds me, though they attack me from every side, I may feel trapped. I do not see a way out. Medical report does not look good. My bank statement tells me I am not going to make it. But that is okay; God is still on the throne. Nothing I am facing is a surprise to Him.” He the Almighty says,

“If God grants you victory then none can defeat you … And towards God the believers should put their trust”. (Qur’an; 3:160)1

Moreover, He says,

“God Has full power over matters, but most of the mankind do not know”. (Qur’an; 12:21)2

Remember, the enemy does not have the final say; God has the final say. When you put your faith and trust in Him, He says, “I will always cause you to triumph.” Be strong and be of good courage. Keep God first place in your life and move forward in confidence knowing that He is working things out for your good. He Almighty says,

“Surely, those who said, “Our Lord is God,” then they lead a righteous life, there is no fear for them, nor will they grieve”. (Qur’an; 46:13)3

Just put your trust in God, and know that

“anyone who puts his trust in God, then He suffices him. God’s commands will be done. God has decreed for everything its fate”. (Qur’an; 65:3)4

  إِنْ يَنْصُرْكُمُ اللَّهُ فَلا غالِبَ لَكُمْ وَ إِنْ يَخْذُلْكُمْ فَمَنْ ذَا الَّذي يَنْصُرُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُون .

  وَ اللَّهُ غالِبٌ عَلى‏ أَمْرِهِ وَ لكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لا يَعْلَمُون .

  إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُواْ فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ لَا هُمْ يحَْزَنُون‏ .
• 4. .
  وَ مَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بالِغُ أَمْرِهِ قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِكلُ‏ِّ شىَ‏ْءٍ قَدْرًا.
