Earning A Livelihood
Tradition n. 289
قالَ رَسُولُ الله صلی الله عليه و آله و سلم:
مَلعُونٌ مَلعُونٌ مَن يُضَيِّـعُ مَن يَعُولُ.
The Holy Prophet (S) said: “He who is regardless of those whom he must feed, is cursed and again very much cursed.”

Tradition n. 290
قالَ رَسُولُ الله صلی الله عليه و آله و سلم:
مَن صَبَـرَ عَلى خُل ـقِ امـرَأَةٍ سَيِّئَةِ الخُل قِ وَاحتَسَبَ فِي ذلِكَ الأجرَ اَعطاهُ اللّهُ ثَوابَ الشّاكِرِينَ.
The Holy Prophet (S) said: “Any man who is patient with the wife who is bad tempered, and seeks that patience from Allah, He bestows him the reward given to the thankful ones.”

Tradition n. 291
قالَ الإمامُ الصّادِقُ عليه السلام :
اَلكادّ عَلى عِيالِه كَالمُجاهِدِ في سَبِيلِ اللهِ.
Imam as-Sadiq (‘a) said: “He who tolerates the task of earning money for (the comfort of) his wife, is like the one who fights in the way of Allah.

قالَ الإمامُ الصّادِقُ عليه السلام :
كَفى بِالمَرءِ إِث مًا أَن يُضَيِّـعَ مَن يَعُولُ.
Imam as-Sadiq (‘a) said: “This (sin) is enough for a man that he leaves those dependent on him for sustenance without regard.”

قالَ الإمامُ الصّادِقُ عليه السلام :
مِن سَعادَة ال مَر ءِ أَن يَكُونَ القَيِّمَ عَلى عِيالِهِ.
Imam as-Sadiq (‘a) said: “Happy is a man who is the administrator of his wife and children himself.”
