Islam does not allow anything which makes the child away from his parents. Cutting ties with any of the relatives is a sinful act, what about with the parents??

Even if the mother is divorced from the father, the rights of both of them on the child remain intact and both of them must maintain continuous contact between themselves child and his both parents. Father remains responsible to spend on his children till they are able to earn their livelihood.

Major sins are the most dangerous sins which lead to hellfire. We have many authentic narrations listing these major sins. Wasa’il al-Shia, volume 15, pages 313 to 331.

Rape is one of the major sins as it is a crime on innocent person which is more dangerous than destruction the Ka’ba (according to authentic Hadeeth), beside it includes another major sin of fornication. Rape is a complex major sin, that is why its punishment is very severe in Islam which is killing him.

Shirk is also one of the major sins as Allah (SWT) Says in Quran (Verily, Shirk is a very big injustice)(Sura Luqman; verse 13).

Every Masjid is a house of Allah where Muslims worship Allah in. Helping in building any Masjid is good except places of enemies of Ahlul Bayt (AS) because their Masjids are like Masjid of Dhiraar which was not for Allah but for Shaitan.

We help every Masjid based in Taqwa, and we never help Masjid Dhiraar which is called Masjid but used as a centre against Ahlul Bayt (SS).

Spiritual l awakening makes you more able to understand life and focus on worshiping Allah and serving people, but it does not tell you to stop studying or keep away from gaining knowledge. Your worship should encourage you to gain more useful knowledge as gaining useful knowledge is one of the best deeds.

All Islamic rules of Wajib, Haraam, Mustahab, Makrouh and Jaa'ez are based on our own benefit which is best known by Allah (SWT). We gave no right to argue if we really believe in The Absolute Knowledge, Wisdom and Mercy of Allah.

Praying in front of a mirror is Makriuh. If the mirror is nor in front of us while praying, it will not be Makrouh to pray there. After all, Makrouh is not forbidden but it is always better to avoid it.

She should consider that the most important criteria for a good life partner is religion and manners. Weak religious commitments can lead to possible dangerous results in the life especially after few years. What can stop him in the future from looking for other affairs if his religious commitments are weak?

I don't advise her to marry a person who is weak in his faith and religious practice even if she has feelings and history with him. The feelings will never remain for long if there is no authenticity in faith and trust in religion.
