First of all, we should understand that names like Abu Bakr , Omar, Othman etc wee never confined to the three rulers who ruled over the Muslims as a result to Saqeefa conspiracy which was totally rejected by Ahlul Bayt (AS). Such names were used by hundreds of other Muslims who had nothing to do with Saqeefa group. Using a common name can never a connection  with one or more persons who shared the same name or Kenya. Ahlul Bayt (AS) have clearly explained the wrong actions of Saqeefa group in many authentic statements like Shaqshaqiyyah sermon by Ameerul Mo'mineen (AS) and many other authentic narrations from the Twelve Imams. There is no doubt that pious divine leadership of Ahlul Bayt can never compromise with wrong doers under any circumstance. The treaty between Imam Hasan (AS) and Mo'awiyah was the only way to save Islam from the evil of Mo'awiyah but was never justifying the wrong.

There is a big misunderstanding or misguiding regarding the meaning of this verse and another similar verses. شيعا means groups and does not have any link with Shia شيعة.  Allah in Quran Praised the great Prophet Ebraheem of being. Shia وإنَّ مِن شيعته لإبراهيم  (Sura Al-Saffaat, verse 83). Allah (SWT) called the sincere followers of the prophets as their Shia as we read in Quran Sura Al-Qasab, verse 15.

The groups blamed are those who went away from the Prophet and his real successors (Abul Bayt) while the real followers of the Prophet are called his Shia. We thank Allah for granting us with this great bounty of being a Shia of the Prophet (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt (AS) and saving us from those groups who went away from Ahlul Bayt (AS).

'When we say that we are Shia Muslims, it means that we are following the original Islam of the Prophet and his holy Progeny.

We have Hadeeth evidence encouraging naming our children before their birth. ( Wasa'il al-Shia, V. 15, page 121). The Hadeeth is narrated from Imam Jafar Al-Sadiq (AS) from his fathers from Ameerul Mo'mineen Ali (AS). The Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) named his grandson Mohsin before his birth. It is not in the teachings of Quran, the Prophet (SAWA)  and Ahlul Bayt (AS) to mirror bad behavior. We are been advised to do good always even when are been wronged.

'The best way to make your in-laws treat you in a better way is to do more good and avoid doubting their intentions. Tolerate and be patient and try to avoid bed thoughts, your life will be better. Vow نذر when you commit to do a worship like fasting or praying recommended Prayers like Night prayer, or good act like helping needy or give something in good cause if you get your wish.

Oath يمين is when you take oath to do something good or leave a bad deed like taking oath to leave smoking or leave attending mixed gatherings etc.

Covenant عهد is when you promise Allah (SWT) to do something good or leave something bad.
Fulfillment of vow, oath and covenant is obligatory.

If you don't remember what intention you had, you need to just fulfill what you had committed no matter what was whether vow or oath or covenant as all of them share a commitment which must be fulfilled. Failing to fulfill the commitment is a sinful act.

Not at all. Your father remains your father and you must keep respecting him and treating him in the best way even if he was a very bad person. Even if your parents were Mushriks (Polytheusts), you must treat them nicely as we read in Quran. (Sura Luqman ; 15).
