The narrations about killing Banu Quraydha بنو قريظة need to be verified and studied carefully because it can not be taken fully as authentic. Banu Quraydha who were a Jewish tribe, had an agreement of peace and protection with the Muslims in which they were enjoying the protection of Muslims, with their commitment not to fight nor support any one fighting Muslims. During the battle of Khandaq (Al-Ahzab), Banu Quraydha attacked Madina and joined the enemies of al-Ahzab who came to destroy Islam and kill Muslims.

Those from Bani Quraydha who fought against Muslims, were punished for their crime according to their own religious text (Torah).
