Romantic elements should not be promoting sinful acts or thoughts and should not instigate the young readers to think in a wrong way or blindly follow their desires.

Did the Prophet (S) possess the ability to read and write before the revelation began, as mentioned in Quran, Surah 4, Verse 113 where Allah (SWT) states that everything was taught to him?

Allah (SWT) Granted the Prophet the knowledge of everything as you read in the Quranic verse. Reading and writing is included in what Allah Has granted the Prophet (SAWA) but he was not showing people all his knowledge for the benefit of Islamic message. The Prophet (SAWA) was sent to teach people the knowledge of the book and the wisdom as we read in Quran (Sura Al-Jum'ah, verse 2). Obviously, the person who was sent by Allah (SWT) to teach people the knowledge of the book and the wisdom has the full knowledge of that, granted to him by Allah (SWT).

Yes, this is fine, but it should be treated with the same respect that one would give to any other paper with the Qur'an on it, and if you choose to discard it, it should be discarded appropriately rather than put in the trash.

As a freelance content writer I have been asked to write about casinos. Will the earnings through writing such articles be considered permissible? Would the answer differ if the articles were simply informational and factual rather than promotional?

Is writing a memoir allowed in Islam where it may include both the good and bad deeds of someone?

We are not allowed to write or mention the bad deeds of others. Writing our own bad deeds is also not good because of the harm of publicizing bad deeds which can encourage others to do it. Our bad deeds must remain between us and our Creator seeking forgiveness and protection not to commit it again.

Writing of fictions or novels is permitted provided they do not go beyond the bounds of shari'a. So, for example, writing a novel which could clearly lead to lustful thoughts or acts is haram, so is writing any form of material which is insulting to Islam or God, the Prophets, and Imams.
