Palestinian

Palestinians (Arabic: الفلسطينيون, al-Filasṭīniyyūn; Hebrew: פָלַסְטִינִים, Fālasṭīnīm) or Palestinian people (الشعب الفلسطيني, ash-sha‘b al-Filasṭīnī), also referred to as Palestinian Arabs (العرب الفلسطينيون, al-ʿArab al-Filasṭīniyyūn), are an ethnonational group descending from peoples who have inhabited the region of Palestine over the millennia, and who are today culturally and linguistically Arab. Despite various wars and exoduses, roughly one half of the world's Palestinian population continues to reside in the territory of former Mandatory Palestine, now encompassing the West Bank and the Gaza Strip (the Palestinian territories) as well as Israel. In this combined area, as of 2022, Palestinians constitute a demographic majority, with an estimated population of 7.503 million or 51.16% (as compared to Jews at 46-47%) of all inhabitants, taking in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and almost 21 percent of the population of Israel proper as part of its Arab citizens. Many are Palestinian refugees or internally displaced Palestinians, including more than a million in the Gaza Strip, around 750,000 in the West Bank, and around 250,000 in Israel proper.

We need to try our best to help the oppressed people in every possible way, as well as to sincerely pray for them. We need to encourage our friend to do the same.

You can display either flag, or no flag. Flags are optional.

Beyond that, if the Palestinian flag is being flown to show genuine support for Palestinians, it is good. If the Palestinian cause is being co-opted to support someone else's political or ideological agenda, it may be less good.

If the people at the processions see national flags as taking away from the sanctity of the processions, this could also be taken into consideration.

Dramatic performance showing people the tragedies of Ahlul Bayt (AS) and their followers is good as far it is done within the frame of Shariah. Doing ion Imambara or zHusainiyyah depends on the situation of the place and what the trustees or Mutawalli sees suitable.

Muslims living in every country should abide to the laws and regulations of the country as far it does not contradict with the Islamic rules. For example, alcohol is forbidden on every Muslim wherever he lives, but paying taxes does not contradict with the Islamic rules. Regarding some governments who support aggression against Muslim innocent people, the Muslims who are citizens should do their best avoid in supporting any aggression,as much as they can. Muslim citizens in such countries are not responsible to change the policies of the government. If it is out of their ability but they should always try to make themselves well represented and demand peace and justice through the rules and regulations of the country. We are responsible to counter injustice as much as we can but not responsible to do things which are out of our ability's.

Real Muslims are responsible by their religious obligation and human commitment to support every oppressed. Those who don't support the oppressed are not fulfilling their religious duty and human responsibility.

We must support the oppressed wherever they are. Palestinians have been severely oppressed for over 70 years by Zionist terrorist gangs and regime and their children and women are massacred by the enemies of Islam and humanity. We must support them in every possible way as human beings if we respect our human values beside our faith. Our enemy is trying to mislead some people by creating doubts about supporting Palestinians under different excuses. Our greatest Islamic scholars who are the Maraaje' of Taqleed have clearly supported Palestinians and we must follow them and never listen to the misleading propaganda against Palestinians especially when their enemy is our enemy who occupied and still occupying Masjid Al-Aqsa and the whole Palestinian land which is a Muslim land and killed thousands of children, women and civilians and still killing more.
