Mustahabb (Arabic: مستحبّ, lit. 'recommended') is an Islamic term referring to recommended, favoured or virtuous actions. Mustahabb actions are those whose ruling (ahkam) in Islamic law falls between mubah (neutral; neither encouraged nor discouraged) and wajib (compulsory).
