It is always good to say "Ya Ali Madad" but it does not replace our greeting which is mentioned in Quran and used by our Infallible Imams (As) and taught to us by Ahlul Bayt (AS) which is Salam or Salamun Alaykum. Sura 7, Verse 54 and Sura Younis, verse 10, and Sura Al-Agzab;44 and Sura Taseen;58.
