How can I provide support to my non-Muslim friend who constantly talks about suicide due to her inability to achieve good grades and her dissatisfaction with her family? We are both 16-year-old high schoolers in India.

I feel so stressed because of this. Whenever we see a tall building she says "I wish I could simply jump from this building and die". She's Hindu. Even if I say something about God and belief in him, it doesn't make much difference. I understand that at some point of time these things don't work for everyone. But I feel that her parents don't even understand how stressed she is about exams. They still keep telling her to do better. And this is when she studies day and night. Its because of too much stress that she cannot write her exam properly. We're in India where many students commit suicide every year due to exam pressure.

Main fact which you need to remind her is the fact of the great Mercy of God, which greater than any problem or hardship. Remembering the great Mercy of God brings helpless people to their senses and makes then start hoping and wishing to get anything from the Mercy of God.
