Imam Al-Jawad (AS) was very young when he became the Imam after the martyrdom of his father Imam Al-Redha (AS). He was been martyred by the tyrant Abbasid's ruler Al-Mo'tassim at the age of 25 years, so his age of marriage was also very young.
