What grows and improves hair in the narrations of the Ahlul Bayt (AS):
1- Figs. On the authority of Abu al-Hasan al-Rida (he said: “Figs eliminate bad breath, strengthen the mouth and bones, grow hair, and eliminate illness, and do not require medication.”
2- Henna. It was narrated on the authority of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) that he said: “Dye your hair with henna, for it clears the vision, grows hair, makes the smell pleasant, and calms the wife.”
3- Ivory comb. On the authority of Abu al-Hasan al-Askari (he said: “Combing with an ivory comb makes hair grow on the head.”
4- Siwak, it was narrated: “The Siwak clears the vision, grows hair, and eliminates tears.”
5- Kohl,(Sorma) it was narrated: “Kohl makes hair grow, sharpens the vision, and helps in prostrating for a long time.” Some narrations specified it with kohl, as it was narrated on the authority of Abu Abdullah (he said: “Ithmid clears the vision, stops tears, and grows hair.
” 6- Washing the head with marshmallow On the authority of Abu al-Hasan (peace be upon him): Washing the head with marshmallow every Friday of the year brings sustenance, removes poverty, improves hair and skin, and protects against headaches.
