When undergoing medical diagnostic tests such as a urine culture, lab technicians provide a small transparent tube with a name sticker, such as Hussain. How should one handle this situation of possible disrespect for such a name?
Bismihi ta'ala
It is only when a name is specifically that of the Ma'sum (a.s.), or as one of the holy names of Allah ta'ala that would make it necessary to correctly dispose.
If it is an individual's name, there are no shar'i requirements that need to be observed. However, if the personal name includes one of the names of Allah ta'ala, like 'Abdullah, or 'Abd al-Rahman, etc, then that part must be respected according to the shar'i requirements.
And Allah knows best
