I strictly observe Pardah outside and on the balcony, but my neighbors can see into my room from their building. Is it acceptable for me to relax my Hijab inside my room, considering that being confined makes me feel unwell and overheated?
I tried to close the doors and windows of my room but felt suffocated and couldn't continue. Even the room got hard to stay in. Then I started to wear Hijab when my windows were open but I felt very hot and sick. I should mention the area I live in is compact enough, with a hot climate and no air conditioning. So I dress comfortably at home as there is no non-Mahram at home. Will Allah forgive me for not wearing Hijab inside my room?
Hijab requires you to protect yourself from being seen by any non Mahram man. If your room's windows allow non Mahram men to see you inside your room from outside, you must put curtains to prevent other from seeing you when you are inside your room. You don't need to wear Hijab in your room when your room is not exposing you to non Mahram men.
Wassalam.
