Mulla Sadra ( Mohammad ibn Ibraheem al-Qawami al- Shirazi) (980 Hijri to 1050 Hijri) is a well known Shia philosopher. He was born in Shiraz in Iran and passed away in Basra in Iraq. He has written (Al-Hikmah Al-Muta'aliya in the Asfaar Al-Aaliyah al- Arba'ah). He praised Ibn Arabi who was very famous Sufi who wrote Al-Fotoohat Al-Makkiyyah and also Fosoos Al-Hikam. Shia Ulama in general are away from Sufism as they take from Ahlul Bayt (AS) the Spiritual teachings and don't need to take from others.
