When calculating my Khums, can I offset credit card balances that relate to current year and prior year expenses from my current year savings?
I understand that I can pay prior year credit card balances before my Khums date but what if I prefer holding on to cash instead?

Every legible expenses which you have already made, can be calculated and minus from your income for the calculation of Khums.
