The Quraish disbelievers blocked water in Badr from the Prophet ( SAWA) and Muslims with him. Ali (AS) attacked the disbelievers and forced them to run away from the water. Ali (AS) was the person who made water available for Muslims in Badr. ( Al-Muqarram in his book Al-Abbas).
