My husband and I migrated to the USA and have been living at my sister’s place for a long time. Is it a sin to ask him to look for a suitable job so that we can have our own place?

One of the best practices that you may perform at the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad (s) in Medina is tawassul. Here is a narration from a famous Sunni commentary of the Qur'an by Ibn Kathir:
"Many have stated this tradition. One of them is Abū Mansūr Sabbagh who writes in his book al-Hikayat-ul-mashhurah that, according to ‘Utbi, once he was sitting beside the Prophet’s grave when a bedouin came and he said,

May the peace and mercy of Allāh (’aza wa jal) be upon you.
First and foremost I have to express my deep compassion, I can not imagine the struggle you are going through. Your message moved me deeply, and I pray God’s light will guide you through this dark period.

Thank you for your question. In some translations of the Qurʾān the term nafs is translated in almost every instance it appears as the soul. This can be misunderstood as although the term is used to denote the spiritual aspect of the human in some instances, in many others it is better translated as the individual, rather than specifically the soul or spiritual aspect of the human. It is not a completely incorrect use of the word soul as it can be used to mean an individual in English too, like in the phrase: “don’t tell a soul”.
What is the exact interpretation of Qur'anic verse 3:81 as it seems to suggest that there will be a messenger in every era/age?
Some people are of the view that the covenant was taken by all the prophets including Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and, therefore, anyone who will prove authenticity of the Book is a messenger. Is that so?
How can I combine reading the Qur'an daily after prayers and also reciting specific surahs at those times?
I read the Qur'an daily in the morning for 30 mins, noon 10 mins and night time for 30 mins. Now because of that I can not read the important surahs. For example, in the morning I need to read Surah Al-Rahman, at night Surah Mulk. Please guide me as to how I can combine both objectives everyday in my life.

Salam Alaykum,
Simply seeing a food product with a 'halal stamp' on it does not automatically mean that the product is halal and permissible for Muslim consumption. If you are purchasing from a Muslim supermarket (Muslim owned), you can assume all of their food to be permissible for you, unless you find something out about a specific product they sell.
