Tradition n. 432
قالَ رَسُولُ الله صلی الله عليه و آله و سلم:
اَل غَضَبُ يُف سِدُ الإِيمانَ كَما يُف سِدُ الخَلُّ اَل عَسَلَ.
The Holy Prophet (S) said: “Anger spoils Faith as much as vinegar spoils honey.”

قالَ الإمامُ الصّادِقُ عليه السلام :
اَل غَضَبُ مِف تاحُ كُلِّ شَرٍّ.
Imam as-Sadiq (‘a) said: “Wrath is the key to all vices.”

عَنِ الرِّضا عليه السلام عَن آبائِهِ، عَن أَميرِال مُؤ مِنينَ عليه السلام :
قالَ رَجُلٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلی الله عليه و آله و سلم عَلِّم نِي عَمَلاً لا يُحالُ بَي نَهُ وَ بَي نَ الجَنَّةِ، قالَ: لا تَغ ضَب وَلا تَس أَلِ النّاسَ شَي ئًا، وَ اِر ضَ لِلنّاسِ ما تَر ضى لِنَف سِكَ .
Imam Ridha (‘a) narrated from his father (‘a) from Imam Amir al-Mu’minin (‘a) who said that a man once asked the Prophet (S) to teach him an action to prevent a barrier between him and Paradise.
The Holy Prophet (S) said: “Do not get angry; do not ask people for things; wish for people whatever you wish for yourself.”

قالَ الإمامُ الصّادِقُ عليه السلام :
مَن كَفَّ غَضَبَهُ سَتَرَ اللّهُ عَو رَتَهُ.
Imam as-Sadiq (‘a) said: “He who restrains his anger, Allah will cover his blemishes.”

قالَ الإمامُ الصّادِقُ عليه السلام :
اَل غَضَبُ مَم حَقَةٌ لِقَل بِ ال حَكِيمِ، وَ قالَ: مَن لَم يَم لِك غَضَبَهُ لَم يَم لِك عَق لَهُ.
Imam as-Sadiq (‘a) said: “Anger is a destroyer for the heart of a sage; and he who does not have his anger under his control does not have his wisdom under his control, either.”
