Tradition n. 250

قالَ رَسُولُ الله صلی الله عليه و آله و سلم:

مَن تَزَوَّجَ اَحرَزَ نِصفَ دينه ، وَ في حَدِيثٍ: فَليَتَّقِ اللّه فِي النِّصفِ الآخَرِ اَوِ الباقِي.

The Holy Prophet (S) said: “The person who marries gains half of his Faith, then he must fear of Allah for the next remaining half.”

قالَ رَسُولُ الله صلی الله عليه و آله و سلم:

اَكثَرُ اَهلِ النّارِ اَلعُزّابُ.

The Holy Prophet (S) said: “Most of the people of Hell will be the unmarried (irrespective of male or female).”

رِذالُ مَوتاكُم اَلعُزّابُ.

قالَ رَسُولُ الله صلی الله عليه و آله و سلم:

مَن سَرَّهُ أَن يَلقَى اللّهَ طاهِرًا مُطَهَّرًا فَل يَل قَهُ بِزَوجَةٍ.

The Holy Prophet (S) said: “He who wishes to be cleaned and purified when he meets Allah should marry and have a spouse.”

قالَ رَسُولُ الله صلی الله عليه و آله و سلم:

تَزَوَّج وَ إلاّ فَأَنتَ مِن رُهبانِ النَّصارى (و فِي رِوايَةٍ) وَ إلاّ فَأَنتَ مِن اِخوانِ الشَّياطينِ.

The Holy Prophet (S) said: “Marry, otherwise you will be (counted) among the Christian monks or the brothers of Satan.”
