Repentance (Tawbah)

The most important conditions of Tawbah (repentance) are:

1. To really repent the sinful act and,feel sad and sorry about it.

2. To firmly decide not to do it again,

3. Immediately returning the rights of others if the sin involved rights of others. No Tawbah can be granted with out these conditions which are obligatory and compulsory.
It is very important to seek the Waseela of the Prophet (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt (AS) in getting our supplication and Tawbah accepted by Allah, as we read in Quran Sura 4, Verse 64 (Had they when they did wrong, come to you, and begged Allah for forgiveness, and the Prophet prayed for their forgiveness, they should have found Allah accepting their repentance and Merciful). No doubt, when the Prophet is no more among Muslims,BT heir real successors Ahlul Bayt are in his place.
Giving Zakat and Khums is obligatory on those who have. Giving charity is always good and helps in purifying ourselves from sinful acts.

Yes but that is the recommended acts before any supplication to praise Allah (SWT) then salute Muhammad and his Progeny, the pray for our Imam Al-Mahdi (AS), then for your parents and believers, then to pray for yourself.

Allah knows who is entitled to be forgiven according to the degree of his sincerity and real decision not to commit the sin again. Allah (SWT) said in Quran (Say, O My servants who have transgressed against themselves (in committing sins) : Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives all sins, truly He is The Oft-Forgiving, The Most Merciful) Sura 39, verse 53.

We need to always seek forgiveness and repeat that whenever we remember our sins.

Those believers who repent doing wrong, and sincerely seek forgiveness, after giving back the right of others, should not be punished neither in the Day of Judgement nor in Barzakh , after they have been forgiven by Allah (SWT).

You need to seek forgiveness and pardon from them. If you are unable to do that then seek forgiveness from Allah to forgive you and them and keep praying for them.

Forgiveness Gate is open for all the believers in Allah who committed sinful acts as far as they did not reach to dying situation. Allah (SWT) loves those who repent and sincerely decide not to continue sinning and seek forgiveness. The Hadeeth Qudsi reported the Allah says: I love those who repent their sins and leave and my love is more to the young person who sincerely repents his sins and decides not to commit is again.

There is no question of feeling ashamed as far as you are really repenting and sincerely doing your best to make up what you have missed.

Do your best to fulfill the obligatory worship and trust the Allah is The Most Merciful and The Best Forgiver.

Those who are not sure and don't care for leaving the sinful acts and making up the missed worship should feel ashamed.

May Allah (SWT) protect all of us from any sinful act.

Repentance needs real feeling of sorrow on committing the sinful act and firm decision not to do it again. If you just fear the punishment but do not sincerely feel sorry for committing the sin or you did not decide to refrain from doing it again, then there is no question of forgiveness.

Muslim must be honest and truthful when dealing with any human being, Muslims and non Muslims. Steeling is a major sin. You must try your best to reach to the host family and return the item to the owner. You should ask every one who may be able to guide you to the owner.

If your search does not lead you to the owner, and you lose hope in reaching to them, then you should pay the original value of the item to poor and needy as a Sadaqa on behalf of the owner.
