1, Beware from the worst enemy Shaitan (Satan) who always tries to distance you from Allah and seek Allah's protection from the evil of Shaitan by repeating أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم

2. Keep on seeking from Allah and never lose hope in His Mercy and Grace.

3. Repeat Estighfaar especially at night when you are alone.

4. Repeat Salawaat as it opens the gates and treasures of every bounty in this world and hereafter.

5. Night Prayer (Salat Al-Layl or Namaz e Shab) is very important recommended prayer every night which makes you near to Allah and purifies our hearts.

6. Long Sojood (Prostration) makes you more near to Allah and more far from Shaitan.

7. Seeking the Waseela (intercession) and Du'a if Imam Al-Mahdi (AS) is the best way to gain nearness to Allah (SWT).

The speeches of Imam 'Ali (as) in al-Kafi are a great way to understand tawhid in the school of Ahl al-Bayt (as).

Allah qua Allah (Allah as He is in Himself) is absolutely transcendent, indefinable, eternal, and unknowable. Strictly speaking, He can never be known, because He transcends all conception.

Therefore, He makes Himself known through His Names and Atttributes.

Imam al-Sadiq (as) makes it clear that the Names and Attributes are merely indications of what Allah is; they are not Allah Himself.

Some scholars say that Allah's Attributes are not separate from Him, but neither are they Him. We can use an analogy for a person. We may say that they are 'kind' but their kindness is not essentially them in themselves, which remains hidden from everyone.

The Attributes are not 'things' they are just reflected, or revealed in creation.

Imam al-Sadiq (as) said, 'Do not worship the Attributes.' The Qur'an says that you can call upon Allah using them, however. Again, just as your friend's name is not him. You can call your friend, using his name, but his name is not his essential self.

The Names and Attributes are a 'means' by which we call upon Allah.

Therefore, when making du'a, you can address Allah using any of His Names and Attributes, with the understanding that He in Himself transcends all of them and is not limited by them.

Is Allah called Al-Hadi Al-Mahdi in certain Duas? If the term Mahdi signifies being guided, how can Allah be seen as guided by anyone else?

Al-Haadiالهادي is one of the Names of Allah (SWT) which means : He, Who guides to the right path.

I don't know any Du'a which calls Allah (SWT) as Al-Mahdi ( The guided). Allah (SWT) is The Guide for every Muslim and no one can guide Him.

Yes, you are setting yourself up for disappointment. You cannot force yourself onto someone, especially if it seems they are not interested. Your dua to Allah ta'ala should be in asking Him to do what is best for you, and for you to evaluate the situation using reason and common sense.

After fulfilling all the obligatory acts, the best recommended acts are: helping others especially your parents and relatives then poor and needy, reciting Quran with understanding, reciting supplications with understanding, remembering Allah day and night, being in purity state day and night, remembering the Prophet and his holy Progeny with salutations (ALLAHUMMA SALLI 'ALA MUHAMMAD WA AALI MUHAMMAD) , performing Night Prayer every night, reciting Ziyarat Ashura every day, seeking forgiveness (ASTAGHFIRULLAH RABBI WA ATOOBU ELAYH). These are just few examples of recommended acts.

Is it permissible to make Dua against someone who mocked me publicly, seek protection from such individuals, and request Allah to handle the situation if it occurs again?

It is permissible and even recommended to supplicate to Allah, The Glorious to protect us from evil people. Regarding making Du'a against others, it is better to pray for forgiveness for you and them and Allah's protection.

I am going through a lot of hardship and stress. I have school, so I struggle to find time to apply for jobs. Can I make Dua that the job that is written upon me or best for me should find me or l stumble up it?

All of us need to seek from Allah, The Glorious to Grant us whatever He Know the best for us and never rely on our wishes and thinking and imaginations which are based on our limited knowledge, while Allah (SWT) Knows everything which is good for us. Relying on Allah's order is the best for us.

How should we make Dua for someone during Sujood? Is it sufficient to have the intention, or should we specifically change the arabic wording accordingly to refer to that person?

Making Du’a for someone during Salah or Sujood can be in your own language and not necessarily in Arabic. Your Prayer is valid as far as you seek from Allah (SWT) and don’t talk to people.

Many Quranic verses are very useful in this matter e,g (WA ITHA MARIDHTU FAHOWA YASHFEEN) وإذا مَرِضتُ فَهُوَ يَشفين

Tis verse is in Sura Al-Shu'araa, verse 80.

Repeating it is very useful.

Is it permissible to make Dua in a language other than Arabic during Kunoot in prayer in order to express our needs or requests?

Seeking your needs from Allah (SWT) in your own language is permissible during Qunout after reciting any Du;a in Arabic for Qunout. Du'a of Qomout should involve Arabic part then rest can be in any language.

I am worried about myself or a family member contracting an incurable disease, and my work in a medical environment heightens this fear. Is there a specific Dua that can help alleviate my anxiety regarding this situation?

There are many supplications for protection beside repeating Estighfaar and Salawaat and giving Sadaqa. These supplications are mentioned in many books like Mafateeh Al-Jinan. One of these Du'as is (أُعيذُ نفسي وديني وأهلي ومالي وما رَزَقَني رَبِّي بالله الواحد الأحد الذي لم يلد ولم يولد ولم يكن له كفوا أحد.
