I am a 30-year-old man from the UK, recently practicing my faith more seriously. I am not yet circumcised. My father is critically ill, and I may need to prepare his body. Am I permitted to do so, or am I still ritually impure despite performing ghusl?

Circumcision is obligatory in every Muslim male if he is still uncircumcised no matter what his age is. Uncircumcised Muslim male is not ritually impure though he is not allowed to perform Tawaf around the Ka'bah. He is allowed to perform all the other worship practices like Salah, fasting etc. preparing the body of your father after his demise is valid even if you are still uncircumcised. I advise you to get circumcised as soon as you can.

Chair . Najasa (Impurity)

I sat on a chair that might have touched an impure liquid. The cushion was washed, but I am unsure if the chair remains ṭāhir or if it needs purification. Would wiping it with a damp cloth be adequate, given its porous nature?

Bismihi ta'āla

The fact that you've said "might have touched" and "unsure" makes the scenario hold no weight. In matters of taharah and najasah, it is only certainty that you act upon. As long as the cushion was washed, that is more than enough, and dismiss your other thoughts.

Are there any Shia jurists who believe that a human corpse is not considered impure?

We, Shia Muslims believe that Muslims are Taahir (Ritually pure). Muslim corpse is Taahir depute the fact the Ghusl of Mayyit is obligatory on every Muslim dead body. Touching human corpse (before Ghusl of Mayyit) makes it obligatory on the person touched it directly with out gloves to perform Ghusl of touching the corpse.

Najasa (Impurity)

Is there any shia jurist or quite a number of them who consider human corpse not impure ?

Human corpse is impure after it becomes cool, and before performing the ritual bathing (Ghusl al-Mayyit) on it, but it is Taahir (Pure) immediately after death when it is still warm, and after performing the ritual bathing in it. This is among all Shia jurists.

If someone is uncertain whether their trousers are impure due to a possible splash of urine or just water, should they wash them and repeat their prayers, or is the doubt sufficient to consider them clean?

The doubt in impurity itself does not mean that the item is impure unless and until you have certain knowledge or concrete evidence that it is impure. You don't need to repeat your prayer just because of the doubt. If you want to repeat that prayer out of precaution, you can do so but it is not obligatory.

When washing the anus in the toilet, if some clear water from the hand gets on the clothes, is the clothing considered impure even though the water appears clean?

After the removal of the stool and washing the place, the clear water is Not Najis.

Battle of Karbala . Najasa (Impurity) . Food

After the Karbala events, when the prisoners were taken to Sham, was the food they received from their captors considered not from the Kafirs, since their captors were supporters of Yazid? If they are viewed as Muslims, then who qualifies as Kafirs?

Ahlul Bayt (AS) who were captured after Karbala had carried with them their own grains and did not take from enemies any food.

Kafir is every non believer in Allah (SWT) and the Prophet (SAWA).

My housekeeper, who is Christian, handles my clothes with unwashed hands, and there is also a dog that makes things impure. My family is careless about cleanliness, making it hard for me to maintain proper purification. What should I do?

Everything is Taahir for you unless and until you definitely know that it has become Najis. Your non Muslim housekeeper handling your cloth with dry hands does not make your cloth Najis.

The dig in your house does not mean that your clothes are Najis as far as you have no evidence that d=the dog touched your clothes with wetness.

Will my hand become impure if I touch my bedsheets that have dried semen and precum on them after intercourse? Can I still pray on those bedsheets?

If your hand was dry and the Najis bed sheet was dry also, then your hand will not become Najis by such touching, Najasah (impurity) does not transfer between dry items. Najasah (impurity) transfers through transferring wetness only.الرطوبة المسرية.

Praying on such bed sheet is permissible when it is dry and your clothes and body touching it are dry as well, and you do not do Sajdah (Sojood) on the Najis part of the bed sheet.

Is the place where I perform Ghusl after removing any impurity considered Najis? Additionally, is a bathroom where I perform Ghusl, Taharat, and ablution considered Najis? Can wearing slippers inside the bathroom make them impure?

Once you've done your ghusl, and there is no najasah substance anywhere there, then wherever the water has reached, it would be considered tahir. With wearing slippers inside the bathroom, it has the same scenariou. As long as there is no najasah substance, and there was flowing of water, it would be tahir.
