Without Tawbah, Punishment Can Come Any Second - 30 Verses For 30 Days 9/30
Tafsir Verses 8:97-99
Salamun alaykum, dear brothers and sisters, InshaAllah today we will continue with our Tafsir clips and in this clip we are going to discuss a verse of the Qur'an that is situated in the 9th Juz of the Qur'an, and that is verse 97 through 99 of Surat ul-A'raf. 'A'udhu bil-Lah, min al-Shaytan, al-rajim. "Afa amina Ahl ul-Qura' an ya'tiyahum ba'suna bayatan wa hum na'imoon" (7:97). Do the people who disobey Us, do they feel comfortable going to sleep at night, and assuming that Our punishment will not be sent down upon them during the night time?. "Aw amina Ahl ul-Qura' an ya'tiyahum ba'suna duhan wa hum yal'aboon" (7:98). Do they feel comfortable disobeying Us? And then assuming that Our punishment will not be sent down upon them, during the day when they are going about their affairs? "Afa aminu makra Allah" (7:99). Do they feel comfortable from the plotting and planning of Allah? "Fa la ya'manu makra Allahi, illa al-qawm ul-khaasiroon" (7:99).
What these verses are saying is that when a human being commits a mistake, when he does a sin, either he fundamentally rejects the message of God, or he commits a sin where he disobeys God. It is very surprising for Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala how someone does this, and then goes about his business as if Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala's punishment may not come at any given second. Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala, in my words, of course, is showing him how surprised He is at the ignorance of the human being, that the human being will disobey Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala, and then he will go to sleep at night without doing Tawbah, and he will assume that nothing will happen to him.
The reality is, if that I committed a sin, God knows what might happen to me while I am asleep. When I commit a sin, the punishment of Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala might come at any given point. Maybe during the night while I am asleep, maybe during the day when I go about my affairs, maybe I am at home, I have terrible Akhalq with family. I leave the house. God knows, maybe while I am in this car, the punishment of Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala thought I might come when I am just going about my affairs. Maybe I may not have a chance to wait until night-time, to now come and make amends and apologize and things of that nature.
And the third verse says: "Afa aminu makra Allah" (7:99). Do they feel comfortable when it comes to the plotting of Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala? When they disobey Him, they assume that God is not going to punish him. The punishment of Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala is not going to come their way. In other words, what the Qur'an is saying is that when we disobey Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala, we shouldn't just walk around feeling very comfortable, and assuming nothing is going to happen.
No, we are now worthy of punishment. God's punishment may come at any given point. So you might say, well, this is very dim and grim Shaykh. So what are we supposed to do? It's very simple. As long as you haven't done Tawbah, you should be extremely worried. But then when you do do Tawbah, when you do perform Tawbah, then at that point you have nothing to worry about. At that point, the Mercy of Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala InshaAllah will encompass us.
So this is for that individual who commits the sin and then he acts as if nothing happened. Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala says: don't feel so comfortable. So what should I do? When you commit the sin immediately perform Tawbah. Because the punishment of Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala might come at any point. But once you perform the Tawbah, then that's all that you can do at that point. And there is nothing else that you would have to do from that point, moving onwards.
So before Tawbah, you have to be very worried. After Tawbah, then you can rest assured that Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala is going to turn back towards you.
Salamun alaykum, cari fratelli e sorelle, InshaAllah oggi continueremo con le nostre clip tafsir e in questa clip discuteremo un versetto del Corano che si trova nel 9° Juz del Corano, e cioè i versetti dal 97 al 99 della Surat ul-A'raf. Le persone che Ci disobbediscono, si sentono a loro agio andando a dormire di notte e supponendo che il Nostro castigo non sarà inviato su di loro durante la notte? "Aw amina Ahl ul-Qura' an ya'tiyahum ba'suna duhan wa hum yal'aboon" (7:98). Si sentono a loro agio nel disobbedire a Noi? E poi presumono che il Nostro castigo non sarà inviato su di loro, durante il giorno, mentre sono impegnati nei loro affari? "Afa aminu makra Allah" (7:99). Si sentono forse a loro protetti dalle trame e i piani di Allah? "Fa la ya'manu makra Allahi, illa al-qawm ul-khaasiroon" (7:99).
Questi versetti dicono che quando un essere umano commette un errore, quando commette un peccato, o rifiuta fondamentalmente il messaggio di Dio, o commette un peccato in cui disobbedisce a Dio. È molto sorprendente per Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala che qualcuno faccia questo e poi continui a fare i suoi affari come se la punizione di Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala non potesse arrivare da un momento all'altro. Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala, a parole mie, gli sta mostrando quanto sia sorpreso dall'ignoranza dell'essere umano, che disobbedisce ad Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala e poi va a dormire la sera senza fare la Tawbah e pensa che non gli accadrà nulla.
La realtà è che se ho commesso un peccato, Dio sa cosa potrebbe accadermi mentre sto dormendo. Quando commetto un peccato, la punizione di Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala può arrivare in qualsiasi momento. Forse durante la notte, mentre dormo, forse durante il giorno, mentre mi occupo dei miei affari, forse sono a casa, ho un Akhalq terribile con la famiglia. Esco di casa. Dio sa che forse, mentre sono in questa macchina, il castigo di Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala ha pensato che potessi arrivare mentre sto facendo gli affari miei. Forse non ho avuto la possibilità di aspettare fino a sera, per venire a fare ammenda e scusarmi e cose del genere.
Il terzo versetto dice: "Afa aminu makra Allah" (7:99). Si sentono protetti dalle trame di Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala? Quando disobbediscono a Lui, pensano che Dio non li punirà. Il castigo di Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala non arriverà per loro. In altre parole, il Corano dice che quando disobbediamo ad Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala, non dobbiamo andare in giro tranquilli e pensare che non succederà nulla.
No, ora siamo soggetti a una punizione. La punizione di Dio può arrivare in qualsiasi momento. Quindi potreste dire: "Beh, questo è uno Shaykh molto cupo e tetro". Allora cosa dovremmo fare? È molto semplice. Finché non avete fatto il Tawbah, dovreste essere estremamente preoccupati. Ma quando si fa il Tawbah, quando si compie il Tawbah, a quel punto non c'è più nulla di cui preoccuparsi. A quel punto, la Misericordia di Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala InshaAllah ci avvolgerà.
Quindi questo è per quell'individuo che commette il peccato e poi si comporta come se non fosse successo nulla. Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala dice: non sentirti così a tuo agio. Allora cosa devo fare? Quando commetti un peccato, esegui immediatamente la Tawbah. Perché la punizione di Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala può arrivare in qualsiasi momento. Ma una volta eseguito il Tawbah, è tutto ciò che si può fare in quel momento. E non c'è nient'altro da fare da quel momento in poi.
Quindi, prima del Tawbah, dovete essere molto preoccupati. Dopo il Tawbah, potete essere certi che Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala tornerà verso di voi.
